I didn't ask first.
I wanted to photograph the colorful cellophane bags, but I was worried about people thinking I was taking their picture. So I shot from my hip once and moved on.
A bit of a surprise when I saw this up on my monitor and I realized that I'd caught the whole transaction.
This is so much busier than I would have shot it if I'd been looking through my view-finder, but there's something about this that I like anyway.
Historic Ferguson Hall on the campus of Texas A&M UniversityâCommerce in Hunt County, Texas. It was constructed 1924-25 as the Education Building and originally had an auditorium, classrooms, administrative offices and a gym. It is the oldest building on campus.
Texas A&M UniversityâCommerce began as the East Texas Normal College in 1889 in Cooper, Texas as a private teachers' college. The school relocated to Commerce in 1894. The State of Texas acquired the school in 1917 and it became East Texas State Normal College. The name of the school changed numerous times (East Texas State Teachers College in 1923, East Texas State College in 1957 and East Texas State University in 1965) until it became part of the Texas A&M University System as Texas A&M UniversityâCommerce in 1996.

India's supply of water is rapidly dwindling primarily due to mismanagement of water resources, although over-pumping and pollution are also significant contributors. Today, water resource management strategy is required to be integrated and innovative so that it is sustainable and efficient; this can be ensured through innovative tools of promotion, and incentives for the efficient water utilization, while simultaneously, dealing with inefficient water consumption through taxes, disincentives, and tariffs. A holistic management approach on how to use, from where to use, distribution network, collection network, its treatment and disposal has to be defined. The investments in urban water infrastructure need to be supported by governance, reforms in order to transform the urban sector and improve delivery of services and adequate improvement in provisions for maintenance of assets have to be made.
The 5th Edition of India International Water Summit aims to provide an unique and ideal forum to bring in policy level interaction/representation along with B2B opportunities.
