Taken at the Village Green Car Show in Fairfield, Ohio.

When I saw this car's grill from a distance, I thought of Lincoln Zephyrs, but I don't think they made them in a 4 door model. I was a bit surprised that it turned out to be a Studebaker as I can't remember ever seeing one like this beauty. It looks like a classic restore job which has been done well enough to qualify for an invitation to a Concours de Elegance show. Like so many times, I only wish I could have found it in a more appropriate setting.

Cobra Commander, protected by his Night Stalker bodyguards, is meeting with a Cobra agent to pass on some documents. But why would CC deal with a lowly Cobra Trooper, and who is the Trooper working for?

A look at the underside of the wing of The Commander (moduza procris). It is a medium-sized, strikingly coloured brush-footed butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Commander's Palace, nestled in the middle of the tree-lined Garden District, has been a New Orleans landmark since 1893. Known for the award-winning quality of its food and its convivial atmosphere, the history of this famous restaurant offers a glimpse into New Orleans' storied past and has been the go-to destination for Haute Creole cuisine and whimsical Louisiana charm. The winner of six James Beard Foundation Awards, Commander's Palace has evolved into a culinary legend.

When Ella, Dottie, Dick and John Brennan took over personal supervision of the restaurant in 1974, they began to give the splendid old landmark a new look both inside and out including painting the outside the iconic "Commander's Blue."

Now under the watchful eye of co-proprietors Ti Adelaide Martin and Lally Brennan, the Brennan family's dedication to perfection has never wavered. A steady parade of renowned chefs like Emeril Lagasse, Paul Prudhomme, Jamie Shannon, and now Tory McPhail have made Commander's Palace the world-class restaurant what it is today and its leading-edge Haute Creole cuisine reflects the best of the city.

A prime example of a Stereotypical Post Apoc character. He's a former army Commander with a cocky (yet serious) personality. He has tons of weapons and armor, and everything he owns is, in fact, brown.

London plates - first registered in the UK November 2016 - no DVLA MOT history - taxed to November 2023.

Sourced from the wonderful PMT archive, this (formerly B&W) shot is another of those taken for publicity purposes by the operator and lets face it, who wouldn't want to show off something like this?!

I recall being awestruck as a child and milling around it for ages when one was brought home by a driver who lived locally to us. The Duple Commander IV was an imposing piece of kit and the PMT red and cream suited them well. The examples which saw service here were built upon an 8U2R AEC Reliance chassis which signified a coil sprung chassis with 11.3 litre AH691 engine and semi-automatic gearbox.

Like many of PMT's similar shots, this one was taken on the outskirts of the North Staffordshire village of Swynnerton.

A tank commander snaps off a salute before participating in a World War Two battle re-enactment, at the 2017 Stuart Airshow in Stuart, Florida. Prints, and many other items, are available on my website at www.tom-claud.pixels.com.

Le plus ancien document connu concernant la Commanderie, (aussi monument historique), est une donation faite à l'ordre du Temple par Raoul, Comte de Clermont...

During the Clone Wars, clone CC-2224 was the commander of the Republic's Ghost Company, 7th Sky Corps, and 212th Attack Battalion. He fought alongside Captain Rex and General Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was one of the first to act on Order 66, the command implanted in all clones to kill the Jedi Knights.

May the 4th Be With You!! <(o o)>

I updated the line-up with my custom Commander Bly. The only thing missing is some printed legs for Cody; unfortunately there aren't any in the Clone Wars style in the correct colour.

Stole my brother's Red Skull torso to make this. Hydra symbol is shopped off.

From the Sengalese armed forces. I presume he is commander it might be commodore...the tan uniform makes me think he is a naval officer but i don't know for sure. His name tag for the conference said Comm.

Either way he was more than happy to pose for a ttv portrait. His look is....well.....straight out of the movies. There were a few fellas there today who i'm sure could tell a tale or two that wouldn't go amiss on a hollywood set.

After a long time of work. He is finally finished. I tried lots of different things to get him right, but today I finished him!

No waterslide decals

Credit for decals goes to my 2 Good Friends - ScoutwolfSW, and ShadowTrooper88. And also to my other really good friend, Commander Wolffe who helped give me inspiration to make this fig!

Helmet decal: ScoutWolfSW

All other decals: Shadowtrooper88

And the Waistcape is a paper minifigmaker waistcape.

There is a possibility that I will make a Grey version of him, cause I have some awesome Wolffe decals that I got from Commander Wolffe. They are really accurate so I will most likely end up using them too!

The legs on this fig are Pose-able.

He is certainly not my best, but not my worst custom. SO no hate comments please!

*I can upload a pic of my worst custom if you want me too....*

Meet Spec Ops Commander Hammer Sharks! As you have probably guessed, he is a hammerhead shark that can actually walk and eliminate assigned targets with his harpoon rifle. His special swimsuit with a life support system allows him to stay outside water for hours. Don't let his smile charm you cause it will be the last thing you see before you die!

Long overdue upload, but my Stormtrooper Commander is finally here. A commission for a friend, heavily based on Aljan Customs' version. Majority of design credit goes to him (excluding the gun lol), so check his out at:

Paint finish is rather messy as its and earlier custom, the first where I tried out the cocktail stick method. Heavily detailed with blue, grey and black markings on the armour. Blaster also has silver parts painted on.

From L-R:

Imagniferi

Camp prefect

Legate

Agiliferi

The Legate was the highest commander in the legion. He was a senate. He's dressed in purple which was the most expensive colour. During the republican era general's wore it, during the emperial era it gradually changed so that only the emperor wore purple.

The camp prefect was the third in command after the Legate and a political tribune. The camp prefect was the highest military rank. The camp prefect had before been the primus pilus, the century of the first cohort. He was a military. It was a post held by an older man with many years of experience.

The imagniferi was a role added during the empire. He held an image of the emperor.

The aquilifer held the aquilae, the legion eagle. The aquilae was introduced with the Marian reforms 109 B.C. and was the most important standard in the Legion. The aquilifer was junior to a centurion but senior of the optioned and received double the pay of the legionnaires. The aquilifer wore a lion fur.

--------

Since Lego haven't made a golden eagle and the only golden bird is an owl that I don't own I decided to build one with golden parts and the arms of a golden Harry potter, not as good as a mold, but it's good enough.

--------

I've always been interested in ancient Rome. Back when the CMfs were released I only managed to get 1 legionnaire and 1 Centurion. This spring I've started collecting and buying up parts on bricklink and am starting to get a unit.

Hope you'll like them!

Phase II Commander Fox didn't get a lot of screen time on the TV season but he's totally cool. With Arealight's printed helmet and black visor Fineclonier put together a great set of decals to compliment the parts. It's all topped off with MMCB's kama and *BAM*, instant awesome fig!

'Brrr, there's a real chill in there air and no wonder! From the icy world of Krysto it's Commander Cold in the 'Celestial Sled Mk.2'!'

Yep I'm carrying on with the Lego racers series. I'm not going to be put down by a rather petty individual. And of course Ice Planet 2002 was a great addition to the Racers line.

This Mourning Dove is always near me when I photograph the jets and aircraft at the nearby air base. It doesn't matter whether it is the biggest or noisiest, the Flight Commander (FC) is nearby to catch the action!

Studebaker zog sich 1966 aus der Automobilbranche zurück und hieß in den letzten Jahren seines Bestehens Studebaker-Worthington.

Studebaker retired from the automotive industry in 1966 and was named Studebaker-Worthington in the last few years of his existence.
