In July 2011 San Jose Fire Department responded to a 2 alarm fire in a residence on W San Carlos St. The fire started in the basement and spread to the ground fllor. Firefighters faught a good battle to keep the fire contained to the building of origin.
San Jose Battalion 29 and Battalion 10 made up Incident Command for this fire. SJ Battalion Chief's drive these 2002 Chevy Suburbans with custom built command centers.
