A comically pareidolic window box in historic L'viv, Ukraine.
Taken with my Nikon D40, fitted with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD (Nikon AFS) lens and processed in GIMP and Photoscape.
Eolophus roseicapillus. One of the comical cockatoos getting up to mischief and antics. Appears to becoming more widespread on the south coast of Western Australia. When raining they often hang upside down on wires with wings open as though having a bath. Joyful to watch.
One goose bathing while the other flaps its wings presenting a comical moment as if one is ducking to get out of the way
Its kind of comical watching these Long Tail Ducks come in for a landing. Instead of sliding feet first as they hit the water, they just kind of belly flop and skid across the water for a few feet.

The English equivalent is "There are more fools than windows." This proverb emphasises that there are more foolish people in the world than there are windows in buildings. It's a humorous and slightly cynical way of saying that foolishness is quite common.
The saying highlights that despite the abundance of windows (representing openings for light and knowledge), many people still choose to remain ignorant or act foolishly.
Sandhill cranes' landing style is comical. Once they've zeroed in on their desired area they arch their wings to start their descent. Then they hang their feet down like this and begin an erratic final approach swing to the sides and at angles that make them look a bit more like a controlled crash. It makes me smile every time.
No id to this handsome cerambycidae. It came flying in the very comical cerambycidae way to fly. Being that it was huge ~ 5-6 cm i spotted it a few meters away, and went to see from up close.
It landed in a towel, so i caught it and left it in a piece of wood. I guess he liked and decided to hang allowing me to take a lot of shots.
Despite taking lots of photos i didn't liked them much.
So i'm sharing my favorite one of the bunch, despite not being very proud of it. One of those moments were the experience and time spent with the animal are much nicer than the photo.

Flamborough.
A comical little fellow in his glossy black dinner jacket and crisp white bib, the puffin is instantly recognisable from his brightly coloured parrot-like bill. Living for 25 years or more, the endearing little male returns to the same clifftop year after year to reunite with his mate. Puffin pairs will rear a single chick, a black fluffy “puffling”, taking it in turns to go out to fish beakfuls of sand eels. (The Wildlife Trusts).
My thanks to anyone who clicks or comments. It is much appreciated.
Watching these very young Tri-Colored Herons land was very comical. I was fortunate enough to have almost 100 in the area and most were very young and their landing skills were not that good.... Taken at Huntington Beach State Park, SC.
This fledged Western Gull was being very persistent, but the parent was not giving in and ignored the cries for food. Eventually the adult tried to fly away, but the juvenile flew right after it. Pretty comical to watch.

A group of friends joke about having a camera pointed in their direction. Most Filipinos tend to be very gracious when it comes to having their picture taken in public.
.
They were loud and comical and made it difficult to keep a straight face (check 'em out)... and of course they didn't know who was coming toward them either.
These little guys are comical. They hang upside down, argue, crowd each other and like to eat food from their feet.

IF I COULD FLY – SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS
I AM A CAT
I am a cat named Bubbles
a Maine Coon to be precise
I am hiding in the grass
can you see my eyes
when I think it's time
I will leap out and surprise
you will jump and laugh
as I chase the butterflies
why they always see me
is a constant mystery
am I not well camouflaged
in this lush green “sea”?
I quietly wait to seize my chance
oh, how they lead a merry dance
I only want to play with them
you understand; it's just a game
I'm tired now and need to sleep
they've worn me out so they can keep
their flying games all to themselves
I'll wait 'til nightfall for the elves
oh, yes, you laugh, but I have seen
those little ones all dressed in green
they hop about from stem to stem
not thinking that I may catch them
what's that you say Mum? Dinner gong?

Fledgling blue jays are very comical.
I think I will be "over-posting" for the next few days. I have so many photos that need posting.
Please don't feel obligated to comment, my good friends. If you like something, just give me a high fave. (( :
I got tickled watching this Mockingbird at Sequoyah State Park, Oklahoma. He seemed to be looking at this water spigot wondering, "How do I get a drink out of this thing???"
Puffins are unmistakable birds with their black back and white underparts, distinctive black head with large pale cheeks and their tall, flattened, brightly-coloured bill. Its comical appearance is heightened by its red and black eye-markings and bright orange legs. Used as a symbol for books and other items, this clown among seabirds is one of the world's favourite birds. With half of the UK population at only a few sites, it's a Red List species.

One of our ducks caught in a mid quack looks rather comical...can you see the second face if you only look at the ducks beak/bill....its also laughing.
This horse seems to be saying 'Dont' you go splashing me again!!'
Another of the horses crossing the stream. One had a great time stomping and kicking up the water.

P.S. did anyone notice the large arm sticking up out of the sand?

Brent goose - Branta bernicla
I love the sound of Brent Geese, they always sound so comical. They arrive on our shores in October and leave in March.
Seen here in the salt marshes of the Solent, Hampshire.
Info RSPB.
It is an Amber List species because of the important numbers found at just a few sites.
For the bovine lovers out there. Could they be anymore comical? ;)
Thanks so much for your visits, messages, comments, faves and feedback! I appreciate the kindness and time everyone takes while visiting my stream.
These guys are the clowns of the bird world with that comical makeup they wear on their face. They're also famous for stuffing acorns into hundreds of holes drilled into a cache tree.
The youngsters have been out with their parents the past week. Comical to watch. They constantly flutter their wings while perched (to keep balance?). One lost it's balance and tipped backward, but didn't let go. it was hanging upside-down. Unfortunately, they have been flying into our windows, but now seem to have learned they cannot do that.

... You've got to scratch it!
This snow goose (Anser caerulescens) looked so comical, standing on one foot so he could scratch an itchy neck.
Roseate Spoonbill ~ out on a limb
In the Wild ~ Florida Wetlands U.S.A.
Northern Florida ~ St. Augustine, Florida
(two more photos 'from this day' in the comments)
*[My own personal take on the Roseate Spoonbill: After moving to South Florida in the early 70's I was pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful bird living here. Yes, they are comical and awkward, but I have grown to love and appreciate them. They are special, even delicate and graceful, and superbly stunning in-flight! Pretty fast flyer!
In the image above I like the light (even with it a little over-exposed on the neck...it was really bright!) I like the pose, texture on the back wing, wing color and transparency (of course), and the fact that this young bird hasn't a feather out of place! lol Well maybe one on the lower wing-pit. Magnificent bird! So happy that they live here in Florida.]*

The Roseate Spoonbill is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family. This species feeds in shallow fresh or coastal waters by swinging its bill from side to side as it steadily walks through the water, often in groups. The spoon-shaped bill allows it to sift easily through mud. It feeds on crustaceans, aquatic insects, frogs, newts and very small fish ignored by larger waders. The Roseate Spoonbill nests in shrubs or trees, often mangroves, laying 2 to 5 eggs, which are whitish with brown markings. Immature birds have white, feathered heads, and the pink of the plumage is paler. They are extremely agile high in the treetops. (They are often confused with the flamingo.)
Cameron, Mason and Roman having a bit of a laugh. I found these caps in a cupboard that I was clearing out. Its amazing that sometimes you forget what you actually have.
Comments and favorite of many, thank you everyone.
Jumping spider is a creature pretty comical.
I love ... ^^
Another species we had were the White Pelicans folks which I haven't seen for quite a while, which are very elegant and graceful in flight, but very comical while incoming and landing as you will see.
I had another great day yesterday with my favorite wetland species, the Least Bittern of which I'll have to put on the back burner for now. Sorry for the lengthy story, so as always have a great day and thank you for taking the time to visit.
Among the most comical and mischievous citizens of dogdom, the Bull Terrier is playful and endearing, sometimes stubborn, but always devoted. These unique 'eggheads' are exuberant, muscular companions who thrive on affection and exercise. Bull Terriers are robust, big-boned terriers who move with a jaunty stride suggesting agility and power.
Here's our pal Feathers again, he put a lot of effort into getting that feather off his beak to say the least.
This is one of many frames I took in high speed continuous mode at 10fps, when you watch them in sequence they are quite comical. This is Feathers giving a full body shakedown to end his preening session (with the feather still on the beak) and this frame stood out as it looked to me like he was bustin' a move!
