The name says it all. It's a comic and pop culture festival, packed with comic c...ompetition (Comic Character Battle, Comic Strip Competition), 15 local comic artists, comic market, cosplay, band performance, test drive Toyota Yaris, custom comic design Yaris, etc...
It was a two days fest, and I went to both. Met lots of old and new friends there, as well as my fellow Kompas Gramedia friends. The fun was almost never end :)
The May edition of Friday Social in Bangalore was one of the biggest, whackiest, and buzziest Social we have hosted so far. The theme for the month was Comic-Con, and it was wonderful to celebrate our superheroes, aka our team members. From a specially crafted superheroes menu to target practice game to save the planet, we had it all! There was also a special desk for team members to test their superpowers.

The CHOKER tour kicked off over in New York on Staten Island with the awesome blokes at Comic Book Jones...all the while I was apparently receiving emails saying CHOKER has basically sold out already and is now on back order with the distributor...so if you want a copy better get in quick! We'll see if we can reprint it. I may do a new cover if there's time on the road. McCool and I are well chuffed.
Not only that but my new templesmitharts.com/ on wednesday. For now there's only CHOKER cover original art up mostly...but coming are many interior pages, Wormwood and Hoxford art, prints, books and a ton of other exclusive merchandise stuff I'll be doing up.
