Bormio
The Combo district is certainly of ancient formation, as evidenced by its churches and some well-preserved archaic buildings, even if the origins of the district do not go back in time as those of the main nucleus of Bormio. Combo has always been a purely rural district, by virtue of its proximity to the magnificent meadow basin of the Alute, where most of the land cultivated by the Bormio's inhabitants was located.
