HBW.. have a lovely day.. Thank you for any comments left
Another one from our river bend spot, where Pips stalks the sunbaking water dragons further down the steep emankment at water's edge while far above in the towering old gums, the birdlife chatters on.
This higher ground is no longer left undisturbed to give me the joy of these little golden dazzlers in late afternoon.
Old fella fishermen are often there now, digging away on the hunt for enormous worms, leaving large pockets of uneven, bare and messy soil which turns to bog from the rain and tempts me to trip and fall over in it as I wander about with attention on the camera.
Nearly had a few woopsies ;\
The rest of it is now kept mown by local council at regular intervals, so I'm glad I snapped plenty of these last September.
Another reminder to take those pics when we see something we like - the same chance may not come 'round again.
Besides the watermark experiment, still sooc.
Love the colour combo's in this one, the gold against the grey.
Mother Nature is so clever..
Enjoy your weekend, my friends x
I always thought it was ironic that the spider has this particular marking. Crosses represent both death and resurrection - in this case the prey only receives the former. I figured this was good for a combo BBBT and Arachtober. Happy Arachtobutt! She really displays the cross well here. It also really reads well in the thumbnail image.

Ferrari 328GTS & Aston Martin V8 Vantage - V550.
Aston Martin V550 - only 239 examples had been produced, very exclusive car.
This is obviously a combo shot - If it were real I would not be hanging around taking photos...
These were taken last week on Sunday morning when the fog never quite lifted. The advantage is that the light stayed consistent, so the two images combined very easily. I am however disappointed that the train in the foreground is blurry. It would be better to be either sharp, or properly blurry.
It was actually very surprising to see even two trains on a Sunday morning, as usually the weekends are very quiet.
Anyway - DL 9193 and DL 9072 at Ruakura.
CP 286 brought out quite a few railfans to the entrance of Bensenville Yard, and rightfully so. Powering the train east by Tower B17 are CP 7018 and UP 6310, one of the few remaining AC44CW's left on UP's roster retaining Southern Pacific's speed lettering.
I've continued my "study" of combination of mesh heads with the Signature Gianni body. Follow the link to my blog for the deets.
A variety of vehicle parts were tied together at an old junk yard near Toledo, WA. We stopped there on the way home and found a bonanza of rust and dereliction.
NS 25V passed through Toledo early in the evening with a colorful combo on the point. Blue nose NS 4001 is leading with a BNSF unit trailing for a break in the black NS unit parade that is typical through here. CP 293, Toledo, OH

A KCS Belle ACE/Grey AC44 combo gets Eastbound CPKC train 248-02 back on the move again, after a lengthy delay at Sturtevant, Wisconsin to setout a car. Old Milwaukee Road-vintage pole lines still skirt the right of way along a few stretches of CPKC's C&M Subdivision. Near Somers, WI.
fireworks, rockets, lotto, and what's that? gas!....oh, yeah. when you buy 60 dollars worth of fuel (at the pump)....you still have to hit the $10.00 minimum when you use your debit or credit card inside.
