Photographed is the Roman Colloseum, a little after sunset. This photograph was shot from across the road from a viewpoint and the red streak of lines are the cars/buses that ply across in the road. I couldn't compose this picture without that bright street lamp shining in the right corner of the picture. In the hindsight, I feel it adds a little character to the picture and hence left it so!
Shot with a Canon 7D and a Sigma 10-20mm lens.
A little info on the colloseum from wikipedia: s an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture and Roman engineering. Capable of seating 50,000 spectators,[4][5] the Colosseum was used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles such as mock sea battles, animal hunts, executions, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on Classical mythology. Although in the 21st century it stays partially ruined because of damage caused by devastating earthquakes and stone-robbers, the Colosseum is an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome. It is one of Rome's most popular tourist attractions!
