Juicy ripe raspberries piled high with fresh cream. Yumm

Decided to try my hand at making soap (ok, I got the idea in my head a few weeks ago and have been obsessing about it since). This is my first batch ever! Fingers crossed it turns out ok. It's currently sitting wrapped in a towel on the counter. I'll be able to unmold it in a day or two! Woooo!

The soap is in Gel Stage now! Wooooo! I was a bit concerned because it hadn't gone to gel, but I decided to have a little peek and did a happy dance!

Aaaaand, the cold process soap fascination continues. So I decided to try using buttermilk in place of water today! Wooooo! And adding some poppy seeds! It's chilling out now...it might change color, so I've got it in the freezer to hopefully slow it down or prevent it from going completely beige or brown...the lye likes to burn the sugars in the milk apparently...

Soap out on the curing rack. Don't you just love that 'ham tan' middle? It's actually the honey that gives it that colour. The dark brown / black lines are from sprinkling cocoa powder, a technique I attribute to Future Primitive's Tiggy Fiander (lovely soapmaker!)

Just having more fun playing around with color and embeds.

Great for gardening or getting rid of strong cooking odors like garlic.

Basic Handmade Soap

Handmade CP soap with Shea and Dead Sea Mineral Mud. Colored with my own combination of oxides and scented with my personal blend of earthy Essential Oils including patchouli, violet leaf, bergamot, grapefruit, and more.

Special handcrafted whipped soap body & gift soap bar.

Cake Look-A-Like but it's still bubbly & effective for mild cleansing and for sure it won't irritant!

Mmm, these ones turned out much better than my first attempt!

The bloom in this picture came from my backyard!

The next best thing to a vacation in the tropics! This soap is made with real coconut milk, coconut oil, and a yummy pineapple-coconut scent. Mmmm!

Some freshly cut bars of chocolate peppermint soap; it has a lot of cocoa butter in it, which makes it very rich and moisturizing.

Desta vez usei só papel reciclado bem rústico mesmo tipo mata borrão! Eliminei o durex e estou aos poucos substituindo a proteção do sabão que não gosto de deixar exposto com o contato direto das mãos!

Some spoken-for Chocolate Peppermint soap.

Shipping boxes, and two boxes full of paper I don't know what to do with! I have to do something with them, they're important. But I just keep shuffling them around.

The Flat Rate box on the left: One of the cats uses it to scratch on and another one sleeps on it while I'm in here at night working. I didn't have the heart to get rid of them!

Cold process soap scented with lemon and peppermint essential oils. Colored with annatto, activated charcoal and kaolin clay. Apricot shell powder for exfoliation.

I'll be unmolding and cutting and stamping the soap later this evening or tomorrow :)

Cherry Almond bars, topped with fair trade organic cane sugar.
