The added fragrance caused the soap mixture to change color.. you don't see this in the end product - at least, not with this fragrance / soap.

I had a custom order for lemon iced tea bars, which I cut today. They're made with Red Rose tea, lemon juice, and lemon essential oil. Mmm!
Just playing with more colors and trying some layering this time. I do love this one too. Having so much fun making all of these :D

The Japanese Grapefruit is a hybrid of a grapefruit and a mandarin, so it is not as tart as your usual grapefruit. A full blast of citrus with notes of grapefruit blossom, a touch of mandarin.
Made with whipped cold process soap on the top and cold process on the bottom. Scented with sweet bakery scents.
This is a trial batch of Chocolate Fudge Swirl soap for an upcoming swap (thanks for being my guinea pigs, swappers!) It was just poured into the mold and has started to gel; the colour will not be translucent when it's done, but solid like the bits on the very edge. It's scented with a rich chocolate fragrance oil, and I can't wait to cut it!
Just the soaps I made today :) The Castile is still a bit in Gel Stage. It should lighten up quite a bit as it cools and then as it cures for 6 to 8 weeks or longer (I like a nice long cure on my Castile soap).

I was having a terrible time getting soap out of a tube mold, and thought of using a silicone baking sheet to line it. I ran out of parchment paper yesterday, and simply cut the same sheet to fit my log molds, and voila! Works like a charm.
Handmade Soap made with Blackberry Fragrance and a woody gin scent. The combination smells like my favorite blackberry martini. Handmade cold process soap made with olive oil, coconut oil, and soybean oil.
Uma composição aromática que suaviza a intensidade do capim limão tornando mais suave e agradável.
Com notas de capim limão, copaíba, pimenta preta, patchouly e linalool.

Aaaaand, the cold process soap fascination continues. So I decided to try using buttermilk in place of water today! Wooooo! And adding some poppy seeds! It's chilling out now...it might change color, so I've got it in the freezer to hopefully slow it down or prevent it from going completely beige or brown...the lye likes to burn the sugars in the milk apparently...
This bath basket includes a Giant Lavender bar, a Grapefruit & Orange bar, a soft terry washcloth, and an exfoliating bath mitt.
Blending soap mixture with stick blender (a.k.a. immersion blender)

Just finished this one up tonight....I'm hoping it turns out..doing a bit of layering with some swirls and stuff.... Honeyed Fig scent. Hope that works out too!
