My first trip out for far too long took me to Glen Strathfarrar with Highlandscape. This area is Iain's usual stomping ground but my first visit so I was reliant on his local knowledge to find us some good locations. These falls on the River Farrar certainly met the criteria - known as the 'Cola Falls' by Iain's family due to the deep brown, bubble filled water.

15/06/2011Coca-Cola is marking its milestone 125th anniversary with a fabulous 1950’s-style pop- up soda bar in Selfridges, London, for a limited run of six weeks from Friday 17th June. Positioned in the women’s street department on the ground floor, the soda bar pays homage to Coke’s first ever soda bar, established in Selfridges back in 1926. The Soda Bar will be manned by 50’s styled waitresses, who will be serving perfectly chilled Coca-Cola in beautiful limited edition ‘Hutchinson’ bottles, specially re-created to mark the company’s 125th anniversary. Situated in the busy women’s fashion department, the soda bar will provide the perfect opportunity to stop and enjoy a cool refreshing drink after a hard day’s shopping. The Hutchinson bottle, first created in 1899 is available at Selfridges to buy exclusively alongside a collection of heritage bottles inspired by different shaped Coca-Cola bottles during the brand’s 125-year history. Tanya McMullen, Grocery Buying Manager, Selfridges comments "Like Selfridges, Coca-Cola has a lasting heritage and it is exciting to be able to offer a contrast to the limited edition bottles of more recent years with a celebration of the original designs. The soda bar gives Coca-Cola the opportunity to showcase one of the brand's most celebrated eras, as well as provide some theatre for our customers." Zoe Howorth, Market Activation Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, explains: “2011 is an incredibly significant milestone for Coca-Cola, as we’re celebrating 125 years of happiness in a bottle. The 1950s, pop-up Soda Bar at Selfridges is a great way for us to thank our drinkers and partners, who have made Coca-Cola the iconic brand it is today in Great Britain.” The Soda Bar will land in Selfridges on Friday 17th June and will remain in store for 6 weeks.- ‘From Pop Star, to Pop Bar, Myleene Klass launches Coca-Cola Soda Bar at Selfridges to mark the brand's 125th Anniversary. The 1950’s-style pop-up soda bar will be in the 'Spirit' fashion department of Selfridges, London, for a limited run of six weeks from Friday 17th June.’ - ENDS - For further information please contact:Gemma Bell at Lexis PR on 020 7908 6517 gbell@lexispr.comStacey Pinkus 020 7908 6502 spinkus@lexispr.com Notes for EditorsThe Coca-Cola story began on 8 May 1886 when a pharmacist named Dr. John Pemberton carried a jug of Coca-Cola syrup to Jacobs' Pharmacy in downtown Atlanta, where it was mixed with carbonated water and sold for five cents a glass.

Okay I'm gonna say right off the bat, this is about 80% Calin's Razor Cola Design flic.kr/p/wNSRTE

He really deserves all the credit!

Also... I'm really not sure what to talk about here. Usually I have plenty of things to say about my photos, but this one... I'm coming up blank. So I'm gonna let my image speak for me and leave it at that.

There's a ton of cool behind the scenes images for this shoot over on my Patreon, including a detailed look at Razor Cola herself and how she fits to scale with The Interceptor and the photography set up. Pateron also has clear photos of the Forced Perspective Gastown build too!

As I mentioned on Patreon... “This was a challenging one for me! I made an attempt at Lego-Built motion without Photoshop in play. In a sense, I wanted to reflect Fury Road's own film production using "practical effects" in order to execute scenes.”

That's it though. I can't think of anything else to talk about! I've been holding on to this photo for awhile to try and think of stuff to say, but nothing is coming to me, so here you go guys!

Enjoy!

Sanford, NC

We came across this wonderful historic building as we explored the downtown streets of Sanford. If you look close, you'll see it's full of coca-cola bottles. There are the three above the three smaller windows, but if you look up just below the roof, you'll see the long row of smaller bottles.

Here's some information I found at the Downtown Sanford web site:

"The adjacent structure (this building) has a blond brick façade and molded terra cotta surrounds framing the windows and doors. Above the second floor windows are terra cotta panels with stepped sides, three containing Coca-Cola bottles in relief and the larger fourth one containing the Coca-Cola logo. The cornice features molded terra cotta with sawtooth openings framing tiny Coco-Cola bottles. These terra cotta geometric designs are beige, brown, green, and yellow, reflecting the building trends of the 1920s."

I searched for a Christmas wall but the best I could do was a red Coca-Cola wall, Merry Christmas!

I shouldnt love you but I want to

I just cant turn away

I shouldnt see you but I cant move

I cant look away

I shouldnt love you but I want to

I just cant turn away

I shouldnt see you but I cant move

I cant look away

And I dont know how to be fine when Im not

Cause I dont know how to make a feeling stop

Just so you know

This feelings taking control of me

And I cant help it

I wont sit around, I cant let him win now

Thought you should know

Ive tried my best to let go of you

But I dont want to

I just gotta say it all

Before I go

Just so you know

Its getting hard to be around you

Theres so much I cant say

Do you want me to hide the feelings

And look the other way

And I dont know how to be fine when Im not

Cause I dont know how to make a feeling stop

This emptiness is killing me

And Im wondering why Ive waited so long

Looking back I realize

It was always there just never spoken

Im waiting here...been waiting here
