1934 King George V Silver Threepence With COA Certificate From London Mint Office From My 2020 Coin, Notes And Limited Edition Collection
My maternal grandfather was a collector of coins....from before he was even born (1911). When he passed away several years ago I inherited the collection and have been adding to it ever since.
This is the oldest one I have. 1908. It is 101 years old this year. Australian currency of course, a half-penny.
The monarch on the other side is actually not Queen Lizzy! It is King Edward VII who I think is her father (???). Wow a time with a British monarch that is not Queen Elizabeth. Hard to imagine really.

Other sources state this could be an apparition of comet Halley which was observed in August, 87 to 86 B.C. Halley's comet was observed to get faint and then disappear in the constellation of Pegasus, which might be the horse's head and star found on the reverse.
