The final stages of the suspension rebuild. The car is back together again, but I have to wait for spacers to arrive as the tyres are rubbing against the coilover struts.
It was quite the job, but I am glad that it has been done, as this will bring a lot more performance, as the suspension parts looked quite worn.
I will be glad to see what the Powerflex components (especially the control arm bushings with added caster) will bring in terms of performance.

A couple of friends got back into working on their cars, so I did as well. I finally don't daily this anymore, but I was at this height for years. Fitment still isn't dialed where I want it.
Drew's 2002 Mini Cooper S, just got coilovers, and boy does it look good. Does it rub you ask? More than you can imagine. But its all worth it to look at it, it just sits there so perfectly. But when you get in there, sure its half the size of your traditional "sports" car, but boy oh boy does it go.
For anyone who has driven a Mini you know exactly what I mean when I say it really is twice the fun.

Needed some finetuning regarding ride height and removal of the airdam on the front to make the lowered Mini practical again.
Decided to remove the spacers on the back, doesnt look to be needed as the Mini still has a wide stance.

New look for my 2005 Subaru WRX Wagon who got BC Racing BR Series Coilovers. Its been amazing so far loving the new more responsive feel. I also got Whiteline front/rear lower 22mm swaybars so the car feels completely different in the best way.

When I was adjusting the car (after putting coilovers on), I noticed that the tyres were rubbing the new struts. Meaning, I had to invest a little in spacers.
I chose SCC Fahrzeug Technik (German made) 10mm hubcentric spacers with longer wheel bolts.
In the end, I needed to raise the car as it sat to low, and it seems I didnt need the spacers (lol!).
