At first I found an old rusty metal table frame at my father's warehouse. Took it, painted it and build the top surface and bottom shelf out of used pallet wood that I found at my workplace.

It took about ten pallets before I was able to find solid 2x4's for the frame of my Chunky Rustic Pallet Table. Everything else was just the boards off of pallets that were cut to fit the frame.

My Chunky Rustic Pallet Table on wheels:

I did spend $12.00 on the locking casters at Home Depot. I used sand paper to rough them up. Then I sprayed them with a matte finish black spray paint. The LED lights were ordered on Amazon for $19. I am in the process of trying to hook them up to a USB-charged battery bank. I applied a very light coat of gray stain and wiped it off immediately. Then I followed that with a coat of Kona-colored stain that I also wiped off after letting it sit for approximately 2 minutes.

I do sell these. As an Army Veteran myself, I donate 20% of all profits to military families in need at Camp Pendleton, California. To purchase, or if you have any questions about the build, feel free to contact me at stampershane74 'at ' gmail.com. Thank you!

Well today I received the replacement and I found that it is a great new photographic object. And I am very very happy that the table top of it arrived in one piece this time. :O)

I just couldn't go for some wimpy coffee table that doesn't fit feet, laptop and dinner all at the same time.

Twine Table is a series of tables inspired by one of the mankind’s most simple inventions: the button. The table top is an over-size button, whilst the metal wire pierces and twists around the surface to create an elegant base. A playful and nostalgic addition to any interior. Available in a range of colours.

“The idea of the tables arose when the designers, Lisa and Anna, were looking into the world of construction. They had recently been working with some embroidery for an exhibition, and they asked themselves – is it possible to stitch a table together? Inspired by the idea of needlework, they passed a metal wire through a table top. The wire then became the legs as well as the structure. The playful Twine Tables, in the shape of a button, are completely at ease by a sofa, an easy chair or just by itself”.
