What it is: A cup of coffee on the floor, ceiling lights on, shadows created by a plastic cover, designed for microwaving food on plates, that I held in one hand whilst taking the photo with the camera in the other hand.
The mug is one of my favourites, bought at the Royal Albert Hall when we went to the Proms a few years back. We bought two. :-)
So, Hallbadorn here. I'm currently trying to enjoy a week long vacation from work and the weather here in Edmonton, AB has sucked!!! - POD - and I have been stuck in the house all weekend, minus a fabulous dinner out with our good friends on Saturday night, due to rain and mosquitos and I have started to go crazy!! Today we were optimistically going to do a photo-walk downtown at the Edmonton Street Performer's Festival but our plans were drowned out by rain.
I still wanted to take photos though! This shot was a result of my determination to get a good photo. I took it with our Fujifilm FinePix X100 at our favorite coffee shop, Transcend Coffee. I finally figured out how to use the X100 properly so I'm ecstatic that it turned out!
I've been MIA for a while... sooo incredibly busy. Did my first wedding last weekend too!
Hope everyone is well.
Latte coffee with lots of foam and chocolate sprinkles. For the uninitiated, Tim Horton was a hockey player and he started this coffee shop years ago . Going to Tim's is a national passtime in Canada- eh?! HMM
Second cup of coffee today in celebration of International Coffee Day. This one is a latte at Café Myriade in downtown Montreal.
I don't normally take photographs of meals and drinks, but my eye was caught by this swan about to be swallowed gleefully by a "Loch Nescafé Monster".

French pressed jamaican blue mountain coffee. One of the best cups of coffee I've ever had.
I really wanted this one ;-(
Zebra House in south side San Clemente! First of many art shows, supporting Max McIlwee, Sean Brenner, Bandit, Gypsy, & Tyson Sybesma!

It was nice to have coffee with Karen and her friend today here in Bangkok :)
Have a lovely weekend :)

Today, I took my kids to the Gandhi bookstore, and after browsing through some books and buying a couple, we sat down for a coffee, accompanied by a delicious slice of corn bread. It was a wonderful moment we shared there, one I hope we can repeat very soon.
It seems like EVERYONE on flickr has some sort of photo of coffee/coffeehouse. What is it with us "photographers" and our delicious coffee and attraction to coffeehouses?
