Coffee table I made about a year ago.

Top is a piece of 5mm thick aluminium chequer plate from a scrap yard. Tubular legs are from B&Q, joined together with clamps rescued from a skip a couple of years ago.

Still needs a bit of finishing off- Button head stainless bolts, rather than hex head, and some tube plugs.

A good coffee becomes better when you drink it and share the moment with a very good friend!

See you tomorrow!

Coffee table in its new home. Thanks Rian!

DIY coffee table from Ikea Numerar oak butcherblock countertop and 16" hairpin legs from hairpinlegs.com. It's over six feet long!

Found this old coffee table the other day. My grandmother and I used to sit on her balcony during warm summer evenings drinking coffee and whisky from this table. They didnt use the balcony it was closed off so one day when she was out I opened it up and put the table there.

I've uploaded this picture to show the people who were with me today at Chimneyville Crafts Festival that the bench as coffee table turned out great. Or at least I think it did. I think it's perfect. (I regret that I didn't flip love seat cushions to put dog side down before taking the picture.)

This is also an experiment with uploading a picture from the new and very different computer. I miss Lview! I have no idea what software allowed me to view this picture. Since I rarely edit a picture in any way before adding it to Flickr, knowing anything about the software didn't matter. It will matter, though, when I start dealing with tombstone pictures for Find-a-Grave since resizing and cropping is necessary.

...ya get a load of our new coffee table?

This is the first piece of actual Heywood Wakefield furniture we have purchased, oddly enough. This one is pristine.. Looking at the going prices, I should have bought the end tables, and dinette + 4 chairs that was at the sale today. We wasted 6 hours today waiting for the auctioneer to get to this.... Everything else was useless junk!

I was very pleased with how the first Blurb book turned out. With a Blurb incentive of a 20% discount I went into a frenzy and put together another four. Once again I'm really pleased with the quality of the printing and binding.

LEGO minifigures lined up and on display in my new coffee table

I paid extra on the Thomson TIU Discovery cruise to have a de lux balcony cabin.

I was disgusted when i was allocated my cabin to see this scruffy, scratched coffee table in the cabin.

Considering this was the ships maiden voyage with fare paying passengers that they thought it was acceptable to leave this in the cabin. It should have been thrown in the skip years ago.

Things didnt get any better and standards were very poor.

Televison didnt work !

I reported it and three days later nobody had come to fix it so i gave it a bang with my fist and it came on !

No toiletries in the bathroom.

Grubby balcony that needed a good scrub.

Shame on you Thomsons,i will never give you my money again.

So the delivery vans have busy on this street lately. Heather purchased two

couple months ago I was happily typing away on the kitchen table which I
