Look at this place. 7.8 million people used to live here. Now it's a ghost town....I've never seen anything like it.

I'll replace this photo at some point, once I actually get a good one, but for now this is the best one of the lot. Curse those shiny bricks.
But yeah. I needed to build again, and I finally had enough time to actually do so. Also inspired by a photo from my 'lego scene inspiration photo' folder that I have.

Not the most interesting scene visually, but I just had to make it. It's a classic.
This 1956 Fairey Gannet COD.4 XA466 has the Royal Navy code LM777 for Lossiemouth.
This carrier-borne anti-submarine aircraft was constructed in Stockport as a Fairey Gannet AS.4 and took its first flight in 1957.
The aircraft is now part of the heritage collection at the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton.
I noticed this character when playing the prologue mission "FNG" on COD4 Modern Warfare.
When you go to do the room clearing section, he is one of the randomly generated characters standing with Capt. Price in the warehouse (he doesn't always appear as Sgt. Harris!).
The fig is pretty much entirley from scratch, except the Shotgun (Minifig.cat) and the goggles (new Minifig.cat part) which have been modded to include a black shiny visor and cut ti fit over the Balaclava.
The Balaclava is fabric, as is the holster and the black string. The leg straps are leather and all the rest is made from Styrene as usual.
I'm well pleased with how he turned out, as it's often difficult to get the detail to show on all black figs. I'm especially pleased with the little radio receiver and mic on the chest.
C&C welcome.
Decided to try and finish this picture with the feel and atmosphere from the ferris wheel level on Call of Duty 4.

It's been years since Pripyat was abandoned in aftermath of Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Still, this city is nothing but a huge ghost-town. Empty. Only living creatures here are trees and plants. People can't live here anymore because of the radiation.
This place used to echo from chat and laugh of friends. Now, only the debris on the floor and that painting on the wall remind me, that this place, used to be full of life...
I have built now three Pripyat/Chernobyl scenes. Or four, but I never posted one, because I wasn't too pleased with it. But this one, this one turned out very nicely :)
I will build probably three more Pripyat scenes. I have designed forced pespective microscale Hotel Polissya. I have also thought about making this alley with playground and rusty cars between two apartment blocks. It will be a lot like MP map Bloc from Cod4. And the third one that I have designed already, is like the Multiplayer map Wasteland from MW2. There will be abandoned military vehicles and cars, trees, containers, and on the background, some forced pespective buildings. I'm pretty excited about this last scene, but I won't start to build it before February. Next scene that I will build is probably Hotel Polissya, because it's the easiest and most straight-forward, it doesn't have anything hard parts.
Now, enjoy the photo :) Reference pic: www.flickr.com/photos/30326207@N00/3493744269/in/set-7215...
Oi Suzie!!
Unbelievably, this was one of the first figs I ever started, it just got shelved as "nice idea, but pain in the arse to do" pile.
Well, I finally got around to finishing it and I'm glad that I pushed on and got it done now, as I really needed that Gillie fig in my collection.
C&C's welcome!!

This is my mini Lego Cobra it has a rotatable nose machine gun and missle pods,i first got the idea of makeing the Cobra after first playinf COD4 on PC.
Whew, another huge decal adventure. I was playing Call of Duty 4 the other day and noticed that the online SMG class troops looked pretty awesome. So I thought, why don't I make them? So off I went on another adventure with decals, once again using templates I created based on Roaglaan's decals, so credit to him for the original design on the kneepads and armored vest. However, just about everything else on the vest is custom, created by me. I really liked how these guys turned out. Also, credit to CWB!Productions for the idea to put the SAS, USMC, and Joint Operation insignia in the picture.
Three SAS operators move up to take out guards patrolling the hills near an enemy weapons facility. (View from a covering SAS spotter's scope
Inspired by playing lots of COD4. When the wind blew the snow on out back deck into this weird mountain-like formation, I knew I had to do something like this.
A Scratch Build 1:600 scale model of the former Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Eagle. Built by my own fair hands, I have tried to depict HMS Eagle in her final year of R.N. operation which was 1971. HMS Eagle was a sister ship to the rather more well known carrier HMS Ark Royal R09. HMS Eagle's full air group is on the flight deck and consists of:
12x Sea Vixen FAW2
14x Buccaneer S2
4x Gannet AEW 3
1x Gannet COD4
6x Sea King HAS1
2x Wessex SAR
All the aircraft on this model are of die cast white metal and hand painted
This Model of Eagle has an overall length of 16.25 inches

Now complete and refurbished she now makes up part of the Museum's excellent 'Carrier' experience

Another pic that may be recognisable by COD4'ers. After the accident radioactive TV's and stuff ended up in the markets of Kiev, so the government trashed the place to stop further goods being taken. Carpets were ripped, windows smashed, olympic pools drained...
Built as an AS4 at Stockport with Construction Number F.9319
Handed over to Royal Navy on 28/03/1957.Converted to COD4 at RNAS Lee on Solent on 14/11/1964 .Seen above at the Fleet Air Arm, Reserve Collection at Cobham Hall, Yeovilton on 23rd April 2009. On display in main Museum since 11/03/13
Based on the level in Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. In the level the British SAS board a russian cargo ship carrying a nuclear warhead. Your mission is to secure the nuke, located in the ships cargo hold.

Wow, writing a review for each game in a very limited amount of space (I ran out of space multiple times) is difficult. The break down of the stars looks like this:
5 Stars: 3
4 Stars: 10
3 Stars: 7
2 Stars: 4
1 Star: 5
I sold 10 of these games in 2008, and acquired another 12 over the next 12 months. Check out the March 2009 version, or my Borderlands (★★★★★) and Modern Warfare 2 (★★☆☆☆) review by clicking on the links if you're interested.
Update: You can now see my August 2010 Xbox 360 games collection photo here, my November 2011 game collection here, and a list of my XBLA games along with ratings for each here.
