Coco and her new wig. Yesterday her new wig arrived, I think it's great on her, exactly the way I wanted it to be. It fits with her personality: cute, fashion and a little shy! :)

She is extremely friendly and loves to be cuddled.
Coco's puppies came in for their booster vaccination. One of them in particular held a grudge but the rest were super brave. Cutest litter ever. :-)
Essa foto é especial para mim por vários motivos diferentes. O principal, e o que interessa aqui, é que ela foi feita sem que o mendigo visse, e nada foi planejado. Eu tinha na mão, na altura do quadril, uma Pentax MZ-50 com filme PB Tri-X, ligada e regulada em modo AUTO. Eu fiz a foto enquadrando "na sorte", e ficou perfeito.

Well today was day 2 for having Coco as my foster. This little girl is afraid of everything...especially humans.
The two areas I wanted to work on today was socialization and walking on leash. And she made some great progress in each area.
Successes for the day:
Walked on leash without needing to stop every 30 seconds. And was able to walk at a much quicker pace. She is also able to enter and exit through the door with greater ease.
Tail wagging....this happened on multiple occasions...yippee.
Tail not always tucked between her legs.
Hanging out downstairs with me and the boyz on the couch, vs. hiding upstairs in one of the dog beds.
Showed me her belly on a couple of occasions looking for a scritch.
Being able to wonder about 15 feet away from me in an outside fenced in setting. She only did this a few times...but she is always at me heels when we are outside.
And the thing I am most proud of- her going to meet a stranger. It took a while before she eventually went over. But she did it, go some scritches, and was ready to follow her home. And the best part is the lady fell in love with Coco,and her and her husband have been considering another dog. So might be a potential adopter when she is ready for adoption!

Coco pebbles should not be vegan, but are. So hi breakfast!

After having to revisit some of my fav vegan foods, due to now having my handy chronicling phone cam...
This pretty puppy is COCO, a 4-5 month old Pit mix who’s social, outgoing and full of puppy energy! She loves to chase a ball, likes to play with her toys, and is very food-motivated (so will be lots of fun to train). She likes other dogs, though her enthusiastic playstyle might be too much for some :-)
Coco needs an active home where she’ll have the exercise, training and attention all puppies need.

Villa Coco Groove One of the bedrooms seen from its small courtyard garden, planted with Bird of Paradise plants (Strelitzia reginae). The garden, which can be entered through sliding glass doors, connects the bedroom to the bathroom. The same bedroom is seen from its entrance. A full-height sliding door that can open the room fully to the rest of the compound. The living shelter is in the background. The bathroom of another bedroom seen from its courtyard garden, open-air bathing is another Balinese tradition that suits the climate. A mirror running the entire width of the bathroom enhances its open, natural aspect.
