Don't know if succeeded enough, but this is the result. Design and folded by me from an uncut square of double tissue 30cm!!!

Found this guy in the throes of death, so I put him out of his misery by freezing him alive. Then I took him out to play. Woo-ha!
When I see these Australian Bush Cockroaches, like Warren Zevon, "I'd like to meet his tailor!"
Ellipsidion humerale is one of the smaller versions and is commonly found in Queensland.

I guess this is a (huge) cockroach, although I have also heard them called "Palmetto Bugs".
They are pretty ugly, and they behave exactly like cockroaches...
Binks(the cat) and I were equally appalled, and the roach was not too happy in the cat's water, either. I freed it right after the photo shoot....
AKA Halona Beach Cove.
People have posted that this was the location for the famous beach scene with Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr in "From Here to Eternity".

It looked like a beetle as it ran along not far from a light brown cockroach I photographed the same day.

On tired-hungry days, there’s nothing quite satisfying as filling my empty stomach with a tasty hot dog bun. First I split the baked roll into two and spread a thick layer of tangy feta cheese. Next my beef dog sit obediently between the soft buns and await the delicious sauce & toppings. How should I dress my dachshund? Mustard and ketchup are boring, French fries and ramen noodles are what I’ll heap. On top of my combo, I’ll squeeze as much wasabi as I can from the tube. The nose-hitting horseradish will spice up everything and make my sausage a truly hot dog. Smacking my lips, I sink my teeth on the foot long sausage. Meaty goodness! I finished the juicy frank with wrinkly head and butt in three bites.
