Early morning walk on our local common, the spiders had been very busy overnight, lots of lovely spiderwebs on this morning.

This is a triple exposure, merged in camera. One with the web, and two blurry ones of the heather.

"Spider web" is typically used to refer to a web that is apparently still in use, whereas "cobweb" refers to abandoned web.

This caught my eye as I was leaving the Parklands. It is amazing what rays of strong sunlight can reveal, high above one's head amidst the bars of an overhead archway.

Beauty of the rainforest lies beyond.

This crafted prop for Halloween gives the appearance of spider and web, especially when you bump into it in the dark ;o)

Gnoll Country Park, Neath.

On our morning walk in Gnoll Country Park we came across these amazing and large backlit cobwebs. When walking round to the other side they became completely invisible!
