Expression: the original Nokton, the King of standard primes in the 1950s, was the one lens Cosina Voigtlander paid tribute to when introducing the entire new series of Noktons in the early 2000s. The orginal Nokton has a 7/5 modified Ultron optical design penned by Dr. A. W. Tronnier, the legendary lens designer who also brought us Xenon, Ultron, and APO-Lanthar. The original Nokton was offered primarily in Voigtlander's own Prominent mount but very few copies were made in its rivals' Contax rangefinder mount and Leica thread mount (LTM/M39). The Prominent-mount Nokton lacks focus mechanism (because focusing is done in the camera) and thus requires an adapter with a helicoid if you want to use it on a digital mirrorless camera.
These two 200mm f/4 are from brands that are well know for their coatings : Minolta and Asahi Pentax. One gives blue reflections, the other one gives more brown ones.

I have the traditional red to purple, top to bottom rainbow, with additional white balaclava, brown eye mask, black collar, light blue necktie and (albeit hot, not baby) pink gloves to account for the all inclusive progress motif.

The ice storm impacted many trees and plants; pines, with their many branches and needles, attracted a lot of the ice.
Das Pentacon 29/2.8 ist eines der am häufigsten in der DDR produzierten Weitwinkelobjektive. Oft wurde es mit der Exa 1b und Praktica Kameras im Set verkauft.
Ich finde es interessant, weil es sich um ein Weitwinkelobjektiv mit kurzer Nahdistanz (25 cm) handelt. Damit sind Nahaufnahmen (und bei Verwendung von Distanzringen Makros) möglich, bei denen die „Umgebung“ des Hauptmotivs gestalterische einbezogen werden kann.
Bei Verwendung einer Crop – Kamera relativiert sich der Weitwinkeleffekt natürlich um den kameraspezifischen Faktor. Das hat neben dem Nachteil – geringerer Aufnahmewinkel – den Vorteil, dass Randunschärfen überhaupt nicht oder nur in geringem Umfang auftreten.
Generell ist anzumerken, dass für das was ich hier treibe (ich meine damit die Verwendung analoger Objektive an DSLR’s) die Objektive natürlich nicht konzipiert wurden.
Spätestens bei Verwendung einer Vollformat - DSLR zeigen sich die konstruktiv bedingten Schwächen solcher Objektive. Wenn man das aber in Betracht zieht und bei der Bildgestaltung einigermaßen beachtet, dann macht Altglas viel Freude.
Soviel dazu, weil das Objektiv in div. Foren gerne verrissen wird. Jedoch spätestens beim Zerlegen (und hoffentlich erfolgreichem Zusammenbau) lernt man Mechanik aber wieder entsprechend zu schätzen.
Mein Exemplar hat ein langes und schweres Leben hinter sich, entsprechend schlecht waren Allgemeinzustand und Gebrechen. Mit Sturheit, Zorn, Isopropanol und Spezialfett ist es gelungen, dass Schätzchen wieder zum Leben zu erwecken. Nach Abzug von Beschaffungs-, Materialkosten und Verpflegungspauschale vom mittleren Handelswert, ergibt sich ein Tagessatz von ca. 20€.
Gebaut wurde es zwischen 1976 und 1990, vermutlich in Görlitz unter dem Kombinatsnamen Pentacon. Es ist baulich mit dem Orestegon von Meyer-Optik Görlitz.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war Meyer-Optik bereits vom Kombinat vereinnahmt. Görlitz durfte die eigenen Produkte weiterhin produzieren, musste aber „Pentacon“ anstelle der eigenen Marke draufschreiben.
