CMS VATAVARAN 2015 'Water for Life' will focus on problems in water management systems around the world and show the disturbing effects these choices have on human beings. With an aim to reach those who dismiss it as humanity’s inevitable fate, the festival hopes to shift attitudes and initiate a mass movement, before the world slips past the event horizon of the ability to make impactful change.
Wordpress has been the leading content management system since the first widespread adoption of CMS platforms back in 2003, and has continued to grow in popularity both for personal and business use.
In fact, the growth has been so astonishing that over 40% of the world’s top 10,000 most visited websites have opted to use Wordpress.
Out of more than 700 content management systems in existence Wordpress now holds a 64.7% share of the total CMS market, and if that isn’t remarkable enough, the Worpress.com website is currently ranked as the 94th most visited website in the world with over 455 million visits per month.
The ease of use with content management systems have helped millions of business owners to manage their websites without the need to understand complex coding, and more than 8000 free themes, and 50,000 plugins can now be found in the Wordpress directory.
With the internet constantly changing Wordpress has continued to develop the self-hosted platform with 42 core versions including 341 update releases.
With open source at its beating heart, it’s no surprise the WordPress community of developers is thriving. This is due in no small part to support from WordPress itself.
With conferences, local community meetups, and 1,082 WordCamps in 372 cities, across 65 countries and on six continents, there is no shortage of opportunities for those who want to invest their time and skills in this platform.
