I stuck some spare tiles to the edge of a bit of scrap plywood to test different edge trimming methods. I've also sprayed them with Humbrol matt enamel varnish to test its suitability.
Finally got the Spyder3Express working in Ubuntu 9.10. Hoping everything will work fine for 10.04.
