I needed a camera fix, so I put on my sigma 105 and ring flash and headed out into yard not expecting to find much on a cool fall day

Agate Fluorite is the new transfer student at the elite school, “ClusterE.A.”, in which the sons of many prestigious families from different countries gather to study together. Soon after, Agate’s unexpected antics and enthusiasm in life impress many of his schoolmates, including Beryl Jasper, an honor student who is bored with his current way of life. However, unknown to Agate, he was born with a secret power that can create miracles.

Sketch of the Trapezium Cluster at the centre of M42 in Orion. Four of the Trapezium stars were visible as well as another star a small distance above these. The seeing was good and all the stars in the field had good Airy discs. There was quite a bit of detail discernible in the surrounding nebula too. One of the best sights visible in any telescope! This sketch was drawn on 27 February 2013 using a 130mm reflector (8mm Plössl eyepiece with a 2x barlow, 162x).

It's also in the range of B. coronaria, but judging by photos of that at the Burke Museum, coronaria's staminodes hug the stamens much more closely.

Star cluster M5

First time I take a picture of a stars cluster (suns). In such a picture the focus and tracking must be super accurate for the stars to come out round and beautiful.

The M5 cluster is about 24,500 light-years from the solar system and contains at least 100,000 stars. Its diameter is about 165 light-years.

The Double Cluster (also known as Caldwell 14) consists of the open clusters NGC 869 and NGC 884 (often designated h Persei and χ (chi) Persei, respectively), which are close together in the constellation Perseus. Both visible with the naked eye, NGC 869 and NGC 884 lie at a distance of about 7,500 light years in the Perseus Arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
