I went for a walk on Christmas day. It was mostly cloudy, but there were a few breaks in the clouds. I like the way the clouds established layers in this shot with the tree silhouettes in the foreground, patchy clouds in front of shaded hills, a portion of the Cascade range spotlighted with the sun, and a partially cloud obscured Mount Baker looming in the background. I went to Ardingly Reservoir half expecting it to rain, luckily it didn't when I was there, but there were some great clouds in the distance.

Oslo, the capital in Norway. The city is not at all the biggest in the world, but has it's own urban identity. You find tall buildings in steel and glass, nightclubs and noise, just like in other capitals. But the unique is , just 10 min. driving from the center of Oslo, you are able to experience this. Captured in the sunset! Enjoy Oslo- from the other side...
