CN 2032 leads an empty limestone train around an S-curve in Culver, MN bound for Proctor.
Going home with a sunny shot here didn't seem possible as our first day was cloudy, and the following two days had no southbounds running late-morning. All hope was lost since the weather forecasted was cloudy. However, the clouds broke free and we were able to get two trains in sun here.
We are having thunderstorms & lightings in the evenings the past week. Spectacular sky show but frightening at times.

Actually it's Der Rosengarten or The Rose Garden, a rock massif in the Dolomites in Northern Italy.
This was taken near Bolzano where we had seen Otzi the Iceman, the oldest glacial mummy in the world, in the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology. Otzi is 5,300 years old so he's even older than me!

A cloudy sky made for a somewhat hazy day to harvest. Taken back in September - The machines weren't rolling at the moment but i loved the scale in the scene. A lot of openness to harvest!
