this was late 2001 in ndjamina Tchad africa..we had just finished a flt from kome to ndj,as we were walking the the hanger this rolled in and as it passed the winds were incredible for about 45 seconds and in fact picked up a parked caravan aircraft a few feet away from this picture and turned it over on its back.we watched that happen and a few seconds later it was dead calm..thats my friend jerry in the pic and me taking the pic

Sunset from Friday March 10 and the start of my March Break vacation.

The color of sunset and sunrise is brief at this location. Maybe it's because we don't see a horizon. Hills and trees.

The shallower parts of the wetland lake is dominated by Spiraea douglasii, commonly known as hardhack. Hardhack needs a very moist ground, much of the year it's standing in water, in the summer it's some of degree of mud.
