... as we enter Belgian airspace. I often find myself humming Joni Mitchell's song with the words "I really don't know clouds at all"...

I awoke very early to see a hint of sunrise colour in the sky. By the time I was dressed, and had made a travel mug of hot chocolate, 25 minutes had passed. The sunrise looked in full swing, and it was a 25 minute walk to where I wanted to shoot it. I took some pics on the walk out of the village and up to the 'bench with a view' so at least I got a bit of it before it faded away.
I sat on the bench, taking pics, and as the sun rose behind the mountains, some colour returned to the clouds but not the full on skyful of colour that it had been. Still pretty though, and the hot chocolate was nice too. Plus I got to chat with a walker or two.
