A walk through the Ruurlo Swamps, known as the Formerhoek. Every now and then a few rays of sunlight shone through.

Thank You All very much indeed.
In the morning of Kanas, there are always a lot of clouds. As time passing by, clouds will rise slowly along the curve of hills.
A dew-laden mullein leaf is an ideal spot for this |Clouded Sulphur as it waits for the sun to burn off dew on its own wing as well.

I spent Easter sunday with some family on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA and we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. The clouds were rolling in as a rain storm approached and it made for quite a dramatic image. The sunset looked promising but the clouds did not light up with color as we hoped. I used a Schneider 50mm tilt shift lens and shifted left then right for the 2 image pano. I tilted about 2 degrees to get the waves as well as the ship sailing past the island in the background all in focus. It was a fun Easter and suprising to see a storm come in after the beautiful day here in San DIego.

The clouds in the late afternoon Oklahoma sky were world class this past weekend.
If you have a moment, I hope you'll view this at the larger size linked below:
A cloud abstract created by combining a rotated photo of the angel wing clouds (see next shot in photostream), with the same image reflected - like those paint and fold butterflies we made as children! I hoped I'd see and angel, but I can actually see a dragon! What about you?
