This little guy was nestled down in some foliage clearly trying to stay out of the lime light. But with some careful arranging and movement of the tripod was able to get some nice close images of this critter. Love how he's looking at the camera and how ery cklear this image is. The multi-colored leaf that he's on brings out the pink tones in his antenna.

I finally caught a cloudless sulphur (Phoebis sennae) nectaring on a flower outside of the Welcome Center. Every time I saw them, they either flew off or I did not have my camera with me. They are a very beautiful butterfly and I'm happy to have one photographed.

Well, not entirely cloudless, but a nice variation from the recent snow and ice storms passing through.

Today started out as an overcast day in NJ with sunny skies in PA where we went on a field trip. As you can see, we brought them back to the neighborhood with us!
