After a cloudburst the clouds dissolved at the horizon, just in time to let the setting sun illuminate these rocks.

I believe that this is Cricceth Castle in the background on what can only be described as a 'Glorious Bloomin' Day' from Porthmadog beach in February when my mother and I were very fortunate to take a short break (thank you hubby) just before COVID19 hit the UK.

Eng ➣ Here it is ! An end of day under rainstorm, in the mountains of St-Hilarion, Charlevoix region, Québec, Canada. And I stayed there until I made this picture ... a little crazy, but I wanted it 👀
Esp ➣¡Aquí está! Un final del día bajo una tormenta, en las montañas de St-Hilarion, región de Charlevoix, Québec, Canadá. Y me quedé allí hasta que hice esta foto ... un poco loco, pero la quería 👀

Bad weather coming in over the Gorges du Verdon, France. Luckily, on this route (route des crètes), the car is never more than a few paces away.
Mono Lake Rainstorm - Rain teems down form the heavens over the mountains alongside Mono Lake, Mammouth Lakes, CA, USA - Copyright 2015 Martyn Phillips, M4Photo.
As the storm closed in on Mono Lake and the sky turned dark and ominous, we sat in the car and fully expected to call this one off. However, the clouds slowed and gathered over the mountains to the left of the lake and we grabbed the camera gear and headed down to the lake side. Shortly after, we were presented with the most amazing display of nature’s force.
As the clouds ran the length of the mountains they let go their cargo and literally threw the rain down over the mountain side. With the wind howling over the top and down the mountains, the rain could be seen coming down like a large sheet being thrown across the mountains side.

At Viktor-Adler-Platz in Favoriten. I had sheltered under the front roof of the Tchibo corner store, smoked a cigarette in peace and took a few photos.
We had some heavy showers and cloudbursts on Friday, so Rags was happy he did not have to go out...

Sailboats hit by a storm on the Markermeer. And I was next! I had to pack up my camera with greatest of rapidity :)
The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, at 8000 ft., provides one with an expansive view of the canyon, sky and the weather that passes through. Watching these storms was musical. As they say, "all politics is local", so too with rain!
White balance changed
I wondered what this poor man did for the rest of the day as he worked and dried out. Must have been horribly uncomfortable.
North Norfolk - Morston Quay - The rain on the horizon became a cloudburst some minutes later. It absolutely fell down but the storm produced a wonderful rainbow which touched the horizon at each end - so, two pots of gold?
Another game of light and dark: during a walk a storm came up. I noticed this lone tree and quickly captured it before sheltering for the cloudburst in a nearby shed. [Explored on 21/12/2021, #157]
We could witness a localized rain in the Grand canyon on a cloudy day.
