Closeup view of the General James Birdseye McPherson statue on the grounds of the McPherson County Courthouse. He is the highest ranking Union officer to die on the battlefield during the Civil War. The city and county of McPherson bear his name. It was dedicated on July 4, 1917 in front of about 40,000 people. A similar statue is located in Washington D.C. within sight of the White House.
Back lit lime slice. SB-28 snooted at 1/64 power with a light green gel behind. Hand held SB-24 at 1/32 to camera right for some light fill flash. Juicy!

Got the Maratnz and I'm happily listening to the sounds. As soon as I hooked it up and powered it on Ground Control to Major Tom came on, hahaha. Great! Is is a sign? ;)
Maybe my Marantz is haunted, like my Omnibot could be haunted, like the TV could be haunted but just not as haunted as the NES on eBay for $230 (ok, it's going to take some time for be to overcome that one I know..)
Anyways.. littl messy I know but just a quick shot. Does the pillow make it look too modern?
I went for a semi-clamshell glamour lighting for this shot hence the much more vibrant effect. I used 1 softbox overhead and a silver reflector below the model. added quite a bit of PP than I would normally do and voila! instant covergirl!
