Friday Cat Photo Purge

Closeup of striped top, heart earrings, fox necklace

Closeup of flowers with Fuji X10. Crop from center of moderately larger image.

Canon flash in hotshoe bounced behind me.

This is 2 separate smoke shots. On each one I use a hue and saturation layer then combined both pics. I used an off cammera flash to the left to light the shot.

With this shot I simply flipped the background colour to white.

Another rusty oil drum, this one with an interesting landscape across the bottom. Didn't frame it as well as I could have, but I was in a hurry.

A couple of Tuesdays ago I just took the day off work and shot a couple rolls of film in the Valiant. I guess I could stand to do that from time to time. It was a nice day.

I kind of like this one, despite the shiny new paint job.

Sorry for the spam but I have a spare moment to take some pics of the dolls for reference

Closeup of the train, yes, it was foggy

Closeup of a Baracuda..I wanted to do a shot of the grille focusing in on the Plymouth, the baracuda emblem, and part of the headlight assembly.

I wasnt expecting much of the photo when I took it and thought it may be a "throw away" shot but I like how it turned out. I really like how I caught the people in the corner of the shot

This abandoned barn still shows the workmanship of our forebears.

A close-up experiment.

Eats fish and shrimp. Flies over the water and plunges into it to catch its meal.

Gotta love that "hair doo".

Closeup of the same horsefly ... quite impressive IMHO

Just a sample shot with my flatmate's new lens (Canon 70-200 f/4 L).

This is adapted from Bon Appétit's Bourbon-Walnut Sweet Potato Mash on the November 2007 issue. Instead of using Bourbon, I substitute it with Amaretto. Here is the recipe.
