I don't see many of these around, and hadn't noticed how colorful they are close up. My apologies to those who would rather not get this close to these critters. They certainly don't match geckos for personality, I'm afraid.

My camera came with a mini-USB cable for the computer. It also comes with an extreme-close-up mode, and this was my first experimentation with it. Yeah, it needs work.

This is Gao Gao, father of the current Panda cub, Su Lin, at the San Diego Zoo. I love these not-so-little guys!

This angle is oddly reminiscent of The Dog images, isn't it?

I continue to be amazed at the photos the Sony a6000 takes. This hummingbird shot was taken with a zoom lens. It's cropped, but not enlarged, and has had basic sharpening in Lightroom.

 

Notice the little guy's got a beak overbite!
