A close up image of one of the regions in the Small Magellanic Cloud that I planned on imaging after noticing this (and a few other objects) in my wide field image of the SMC which I exposed about a month ago.
This frame contains NGC346, NGC371 and NGC395.
This bi-color image was exposed through a Celestron C8 at f6.3 (1280mm focal length) with a QHY268M camera and the 2 channels were integrated through Baader 7nm H-Alpha and OIII filters.
Total integration time for this image was 4 hours and 10 minutes.
I was surprised to be the 1st place winner of the December 2018 competition, -- Macro Eyes -- in the group PLANET EARTH BUTTERFLIES, BEES, BUGS, AND INSECTS, with this photo.

No I was not that close! This is a heavy crop from a long lens just because I thought that it was interesting to see this detail.
(Please feel free to share this image on Facebook, but no other usage without written permission. Thanks.)
A close up of the class 158 units approaching Llanfair PG Station it was on it way to Birmingham International in the Midlands.
This cow moose (alces alces) was browsing on submerged water weeds when I allowed my small boat to drift on the wind blowing into the bay. She was very relaxed and, after this close-up shot, she carried on feeding as I passed by. Photographed at Wolf Lake, Yukon Territory, Canada. close up of the female Muntjac Deer that is in the little video this morning. Gets so many visitors @ Titchwell it was not phased by me, it would have been if eating breakfast in my garden!
A close up from the earlier picture made mostly ...well..for a close up!! The eyes are much more noticeable that way and are to be found at Enchantment from Antielle as a hunt.
More eyes then just blue but I found the color fitting along with Zibska's headpiece and collar Caliste , also found at Enchantment Event.
