Dug out an old Canon 250D close-up lens and put it on the end of a Fujinon XF 35 f1.4 R to see its semi-macro capabilities.
The last traditional greengrocer in the Acomb shopping area closed yesterday. A popular shop, providing fresh produce from local suppliers and serving a large population in west York, but unable to survive.

Sea urchins all piled up in a box in Hugh Town on St Mary's , in the Isles of Scilly. I was away for a while so decided to keep an open mind and take lots of pictures and see what I liked. I played with some macro shots and this is one of the better ones.
A close up of Kyo, he's actually really photogenic and his hair is so fun to play with and surprisingly the easiest to style XD

I went to Wat Arun at "closing" time. I guess it doesn't really close at the time it advertises. No crowds, good light, just me, with a couple of monks, photographers, and cats. It was great!

Have some new photography gear, snapped this blurry shot on my first flight, galahs got a little close!
The last freight train I caught in 2011 was 34J with a Conrail SD50 in the correct position. Thanks to Chicago West Dispatch and a timely phone call from Austin, I was able to get several shots of this train.
