Another close up of another side

A closer view of a waterfall that tumbled down the hillside next to Blanchard Springs. This is the first time I had seen these falls running, thanks to the recent rain and snow. The falls have sliced a chute through the rock, which is ringed by thick moss....

Blanchard Springs is located in the Ozark National Forest, near Mountain View, Arkansas.

Looks like an alien invasion... :D

I initially thought the sunset was going to be terrible due to the incoming storm clouds, but turns out to have a surprising ending.

It has also been a while since I last stepped here. Alot of sea cranes and construction popped up along the nearby shores as seen. Kinda sad to see it this way.

Wet felted wrap, made of silk chiffon and merino wool, with bamboo fiber tufts added for shine. Hand dyed with eucalyptus leaves.

The title 'Motherless' is all that is needed to explain why the little girl in the arms of her distraught father is so sad. One can only speculate how her mother met her end – in a tragic accident perhaps, or in one of the epidemics that swept Victorian Britain.
