The desk layout works really well for me as I can use the longer part of the desk for writing, photo taking of tech stuff, or working on tech stuff. It makes a pretty good place for my cat to hang out with me while I work.
Not in the picture is the filing cabinet beneath the desk for general storage duty.

ActionAid Liberia is partnering with Public Health Initiative Liberia in six counties (Bomi, Bong, Gbarpolu, Margibi, Montserrado, and Grand Gedeh) to prevent the spread of Ebola by training youth and women groups about Ebola awareness and prevention to help in contact tracing, ending rumors and stigma, implement prevention activities, and establish community and national dialogues.
More than 2,000 people have died from the deadly virus Ebola in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Thousands more are at risk.

3 year old Nike Revolutions hand washed, soaked in bleach, and scrubbed with oxyclean
Filled with hot water and Clorox bleach for a good overnight soaking. BF poured the bleach directly and liberally into the shoes and threw the laces in if there was any chance of saving them
The laundry room smelled of strong Clorox
Getting them all clean and then stored away till next November..when I can start wearing them again...
I found these under a sink at work. I'm helping clean out a school built in 1969 and have found very few vintage items, so this was a nice surprise.
So, I don't usually bring home dead animals that I find along the road, but this skull looked fairly clean and complete, and it was only partly covered by an ant mound - I figured the ants were done with it and would thank me if I removed it for them. A little Clorox, a little Elmer's glue and voilà - a learning aid!
This was a fun and informative project.

On Thursday, October 31, 2024 the Winchester and Western ran a non-revenue run from the shops at Gore, VA to Winchester with nine empty 2 bay hopper cars in tow. These cars were part of a deadhead move back in late August. They have since been cleaned out, re-stenciled for OMTX and are destined for use at the Clorox Plant located south of Martinsburg, WV.

A 1980's Banvil Gold Line 36'' Industrial ceiling fan I found in an abandonned building and I pulled it out. It was dirty, dusty, yellowed, scratched, darken and coated in dust so I cleaned it really well with with some Clorox bleaching cleaner. The blades were bent in different ways so I bent them back. Finally I sand it a little and repaint it all nice and fresh with some glossy white spray paint. Other than its disgusting physical condition, the fan works perfect and is very powerful for a fan that have been left none operated in a abandoned building during 2 or 3 years.

I found this old brown glass Clorox bottle while setting up a different shot and had to try it. I can't believe I have had this bottle tucked away for so long; I should really clean it and put it on a shelf somehere.
