this is a photo i took for class i havnt done anything to i really only merged all the photos together toke me about half an hour i could make it a good photo but i cant be bothered

the subject for this artwork is clones

So for the clone week in my 365 project i decided to add a little extra. I'll be uploading some cloning stuff i did back in September. That was THE most productive clone session i've ever made, with Paco's help, managed to take 8 different clone situations.

Now with Paco and his brother as models. His brother rules, because he was doing homework and when we told him what we were doing, he stopped working and joined us in the session.

Muslim Barbie clone, black version, part of a set of Beautiful Girl dolls (two in the box for RO 1.500). Omani ladies wear a similar costume of a full length black robe called an abaya, sometimes open in the front, with a matching black head covering.

She comes wearing a black flannel headscarf with gold trim and a black flannel gown with gold and maroon trim at the neck and wrists. The gown is in a conservative Muslim style with elbows and knees covered (Oman is fine if non-Muslim women just cover shoulders and knees).

Strangely enough, the Beautiful Girl doll has blue eyes and pale orange hair rather than dark eyes and hair like the majority of Middle Eastern women. I don't think it was because she's made in China.

Even more strangely, almost all the dolls on sale at Lulu (the place with the largest doll section I've seen outside of Toys R Us) wear Western clothing. There were two aisles of them, and only one doll out of the whole lot - not even the Fulla dolls, the most popular Muslim Barbie clone - wore anything that looked like Muslim garb. Most of these dolls were blonde and light-eyed as well.

I'm not surprised they don't sell Barbie clones that look Middle Eastern. It was difficult enough looking for Barbie dolls which look Asian.

I didn't get these dolls at Lulu. They were at a small neighbourhood supermarket which also sold what I think was a fake Fulla in Muslim clothing (it was too cheap). That doll was also light-haired and eyed.

What the what ?

Cloning is a Photoshop technique consisting of multiple images (of the same person) formatted together to create one whole photograph. This is definitely a time-consumer but the results are amazing!

(My image obviously was not taken it the best of lighting, since it is horribly grainy. But nonetheless, it gets the message across.)

The Clone Walker was a tough, two-man, bipedal vehicle used by the Republic during the Clone Wars. It was similar in appearance to the AT-RCT and had a two-man open cockpit mounted upon two slender legs. On either side of the cockpit were signal lights and a missile launcher.

Science is progress.

The morphing projects of Micha Klein show that if you keep on blending 'beautiful' people, you end up with people without flaws and without personality. Plastic people.

This image belongs to a tryptich which also consists of clone army and Someday supercomputers will decipher how genes work

Finally, my very first try at clone shots. It's not really as good as I hoped, had a couple of issues with this one:

1. A lot of the versions of me just couldn't fit in the shot, they looked a bit like cardboard cutouts amongst the ones that fitted better. Shame, I wished that there was a little more of me, I had so many ideas. Oh well, maybe next time...

2. That sofa: probably the hardest thing to get around, my weight (Which isn't much, I assure you.) kept making the edges rise up (It's a sofa bed, so the mattress is separate, that's why). Had a challenge trying to fix that problem.

3. Lighting issues: Never a good idea to suddenly take a 45 minute "Break" in the middle of it all. That's why the version of me in the right is a little grainy, I did my best trying to restore the colours...

4. Hair: Looking back on it now, actually, the hardest part of it all was trying to clean up all of the edges where detail mattered most. Not planning on a haircut anytime soon though...

Well, it was worth at least having a go at it, I guess...

first attempt at a clone picture

29th September 2021, Finally got a letter from Manchester City Council stating they will not take any further action in this case. The date this all started was 22/06/2021 time 21:20. Feels like the Sword of Damocles has been put to rest.

In a letter dated 29/06/2021 we from the Greater Manchester Police saying... "Notice of intended prosecution..."

They say an alleged offence of excess speed (40 MPH) at A34 Kingsway, Northbank Gardens, Manchester on 25.06/2021 at 00:43 hours.

We visited the Merseyside Police station in Birkenhead and showed them the letter from GMP and our reply, the comment made by Merseyside Police "you have given them more information than they asked for". Our reply was sent via recorded delivery, The Police (GMP) did NOT even acknowledge our letter in any shape or form.

A letter from Manchester City Council for an alleged offence dated 22/06/2021 arrived at our house for parking in a "designated disabled persons parking place without clearly displaying a valid disabled persons badge". We sent a reply and this was NO reply was received. On the 4th September 2021 we got another threatening letter from Manchester City Council this is even after we sent them a letter explaining that we where not even there. We found a photograph of the car that cloned ours on the council's website and you can tell our registration plates show the word "Stoneacre" on the plate and there's does NOT.

Greater Manchester Police sent another letter dated 11/08/2021 headed "Final Request For Driver Information". This was taken to the Birkenhead Police station and stamped and given a case number.

Other methods have been used to contact the GMP but to no avail.

We decided to change our registration on our car. This was £250 to buy the registration number you can purchase this online. They sent via Royal Mail, you then have to go online, when that is done you obtain a printout and take to an approved agent in our case Halfords you have three days to do this. Halfords sell you registration plates and make them for you there and then. The total amount you pay is less than £50.00 that includes the fixing them to your car back and front, in our case this too just under an hour. You really must tell your insurance company what you have done, there was no cost when we done it, we done it online!

My wife had a mild heart attack and was kept in hospital for a week and came away with a large supply of medication she with have to take forever. Now I am not saying that GMP caused this but I genuinely believe they are partly responsible for it.

They number plates you see in the photograph are the one's we had on our car at the time of the two incidents.

The cost of the of all this was high in pounds and pence but even higher in the stress and suffering caused.

We live in Merseyside the alleged offences where committed in Greater Manchester.

All of the facts are true and really happened and I feel sure that it not totally over yet, sorry to say.

UPDATE: 31st Aug 2021... email from GMP "no further action".

I tried this site, no sure how often it updates but worth a look... www.freecarcheck.co.uk/guides/how-to-spot-a-cloned-car/

Camera used: Sony RX100 III

ref: 28th August 2021

Got this large loose lot of The Clone Wars toys last Saturday. Inside the container was a mysterious pair of binoculars (possibly by Playmobil). Since IG-86 is so much fun posing I tried them on him.

YESSSSSS!!!! I am starting the photo-a-day challenge- YIPPEE!!! =)

This was an experiment with "fake cloning", which I have wanted to do for ages.

All it involved was the paint thing on microsoft, and keeping my camera very still and in the same place for half an hour. I am not very good at keeping things still, which explains a lot about the terribleness of this shot. It was just an EXPERIMENT, OK???

btw, I took this when Pips my cousin was round- loads more pics to upload, but I'm HOPING to get my pro account first.... =)

all the stone pillars at The Pinnacles inspired Dan to multiply! Scary.

One of many conjoined clone disasters...

Clone troopers were grown and trained on Kamino, cloned from the bounty hunter Jango Fett for the Galactic Republic. The troopers were first called into service during the Battle of Geonosis, when Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala were captured. A Jedi taskforce led by Mace Windu was initially sent in to rescue the three captives, however the large number of Battle Droids eventually wore down the small army. Clone troopers flew in on LAAT/i gunships with Jedi Master Yoda, evacuating the surviving Jedi. The Grand Army of the Republic, led by Jedi Generals then managed to overcome the Confederacy droid forces on Geonosis, and the first battle of the Clone Wars was won by the clone and Jedi forces.

This is the 2nd commando in Derago squad

This was my first time playing with cloning myself. I've seen so many people do it, that I figured to give it a try.

It was fun. Of course, I can probably do better. But for a first time, I am quite impressed.

I showed my boyfriend the finished result, and said to him: "aren't you glad there's only one of me?"

I played with using the foreground as a brighter tone whereas the background area as... darker obviously.
