A series about time, permanence and healing.

After Steve said "ribbet" under my frog pic I thought of this one.

Made for Take a Word this week. I thought the Steampunk image suited it. Most elements from an Idgie Geist kit.

Identified by its unmistakble buzzing and whirring sound of the tiny gears, the Sinek flies through the giant hallways of the royal Ornum palace, delivering messages hidden in small scrolls carried in its claws. When not in use, it is held securely in a special stand, and can be released when needed. Every turn and nook of the palace has been astoundingly recorded and memorized in the intricate clockwork mechanics of this insectoid machine.

The creation of the Sinek has led to the unemployment of many royal messengers who then sought work in the less-than-luxurious common towns and villages.

Built for The "Bricks & Boilers" Exposition competition at the LEGO Steampunk group; this is for the "Hall of Wonders" category where we create devices or inventions from a kingdom of our choice.

Continuing with the (made up) Ornum Empire theme from the first walker build (see link below), I went through a ton of lousy ideas before throwing my hands up and started putting stuff together and coming up with the idea as I go, haha. The shield part gave me the idea to use it as a centerpiece, as I was going to use it again to represent the Empire's symbol and sell the idea that this thing belongs to the same kingdom.

The stand was built afterwards to give the bug somewhere to rest and look presentable XD

Mixing the newest and previous versions of the Penguin, like so, is definitely my favorite version of Cobblepot so far, and his robo-penguins are rather cute with the wind-up piece.

A detail from the sawmill I explored recently.

The lith developer was diluted significantly (1+35) as I wanted to explore the change in color. It lithed well, and the colors are not that dominant than in some other omega prints. So this is an alternative I will use for suitable subjects..

well, it was just a matter of time until i realised that little droog HAD to wear this.

Hey girl, open the walls, play with your dolls

We'll be a perfect family

When you walk away, it's when we really play

You don't hear me when I say,

Mom, please wake up

Dad's with a slut, and your son is smoking cannabis

No one never listens, this wallpaper glistens

Don't let them see what goes down in the kitchen

Places, places, get in your places

Throw on your dress and put on your doll faces

Everyone thinks that we're perfect

Please don't let them look through the curtains

Picture, picture, smile for the picture

Pose with your brother, won't you be a good sister?

Everyone thinks that we're perfect

Please don't let them look through the curtains

This handsome fella was walking around while I was on the roof of the house I went to today! :D :D He was in a field next to the house, then walked over the fence and stood there, posing for me. :D Such a trooper! :)
