I only have one more exam left. I'm so excited to finally go home and see my family. I'll be able to spend more time on photography and reading. This is all quite motivating.
Today's photo is just a bunch of binder clips that I thought were interestingly coloured and patterned. I didn't really know how to take a photo of them so I ended up hanging them with yarn. I got to play a little bit with my flash today.
The first clip i have chosen is from the film suckerpunch, this is the only clip that includes 3D animation already, i chose it because the animation is very fluid and realistic which is hard to captivate unless using motion capture. I Like how it focuses on the female characters movement such as when it goes into slow motion as she flips over the bisento which would be good to replicate in a 3D animation.
The second clip is from the film underworld: awakening in which the character is escaping from the police, i chose this clip because it is quite simple with only one character that has exaggerated movement putting the main focus on her.
The third clip is a dance scene in the film step up 2 the streets, i like this clip because it includes a lot of fast movement but at the same time is very static as his arms and legs pop into position, it also uses the environment well such as climbing up and down the stairs. This would be very challenging to replicate because of its fast pace.

Hello all.
Thank you for paying attention to my approach, which is to simply discover the music that I develop.
What you will hear are entirely made by myself (all the tracks of the drums passing by the violins for example are created by me, since a midi synth). I then use Cubase VST file to get a slightly better sound, although I know I would need more computer software to have better listening. That I had at one time, you know life with divorces and others have lost things on the way!
I come from a family of professional musicians, my father has been a talented Jazz saxophonist, pro music school is all ...
Me no, but I'm affiliated to the world of music since I was little (I started the synth at 10 years) and I never stopped.
My approach is to make others listen to my creations and possibly be able to exchange words with others

What do you do with office clips you don't use anymore? I took a photo and use them to clip a bag of chips.

Video Title: Introduction to Iaido, part 5: The Bokken
Time: 0:20-0:42
The video shows a Man using a Japanese styled weapon to slice horizontally and diagonally at to demonstrate cutting techniques. I like this as a reference as it provides a way of seeing how different cutting motions look from the same angle. Also because the man performs the motion slowly initially before doing a faster variant, it helps get an idea to where the most extreme points are in the animation. The downside to the clip is that it’s only done from a singular angle which limits my knowledge on what the swing looks like from multiple directions and the swings lack the speed I want to use in my animation.

Video Title: Dark Souls 2 Showcase! Pursuer's Ultra Greatsword!
Time: 4:09-4:20
The video shows the player wielding the Pursuer’s Ultra Greatsword. The Weapon has a large weight to its swings as evidenced by the exaggeration at the end of the swing’s arc. I like this one as it captures the weight and speed of the animation I want as well as the exaggerated motion that goes into it. However like the second clip it also suffers from only being from one angle which limits how I view how the character moves.

Video Title: Monster Hunter X Long Sword Gameplay Weapon Demo
Time: 1:43-1:52
The video shows a Hunter wielding a Long Sword and performing some of the basic attacks you can use in the game. I like this clip as it not only provides multiple different attack animations but all of them are quite fast and well exaggerated at the end of the swing also the movement itself is quite graceful. However whilst it provide not only multiple attacks and camera angles, it never shows the same motion twice in a different perspective and also due to the game being a Portable handheld game the graphical quality makes it more a challenge to pinpoint the movements of the weapon and body, as well as dust particles on the last two attacks.

These hair clips are completely hand made and available for purchase in my Etsy store (see my Flickr profile for more info)
I purchased these Field Notes Brand memo books and love them but I didn't like the way the books didn't stay closed and pens clipped onto the books awkwardly. So I quickly designed up this clip that not only keeps the book closed but also lets you attach a pen. I designed the clip to perfectly fit the Field Notes Brand click pens but as you can see it will also fit other brand pens too.
Another short clip of this indigenous dance group representing the Yugambeh people from the present day Gold Coast area . Many of the dances evolved around native animal themes , stylising their movements and incorporating them into these age old dances . Quick tempo speed with this group .
