I realize this is something that most people wouldn't give a second glance to. My husband had been soldering and left his soldering clips and iron out near a window, and I just knew that I had to photograph them. I tried using four different lenses, and of course, I liked the image taken with my Pentacon the best :)

Happy Monday!

A Mini Paper Clip, on top of this Mini multi coloured block puzzle you might say its a "Clip off the Old Block"

The sound of horse's hooves is so much more calming than the constant hum and roar of engines. This is what makes Mackinac Island so special.

Please enjoy the details in Large!

Watching birds in flight through the camera lens is never easy.

I am always trying to frame the perfect shot. However my poor reflexes, combined with the kites speed and I was a nano second out. Despite the wing clip though, I still kinda like this shot.

Red kites in Yorkshire are a fantastic advert for conservation.

A re submit to meet the Brief...........Clip Art is still tasty but in a different way.............

After a few days of constant Rain I needed a touch of Colour to revive me

This Clip Art hit the spot very nicely......

I started to make these money clips in the 1990's and gave them as gifts, mostly made from exotic woods and silver binder, All my small projects are from left over cut offs.

often little silver inlay with the name fo the receiver.

Please check my album of things I made over the years,

This has been in my box of "treasures" for as long as I can remember. It is a decorative shoe clip. I don't know when or where I got it....but I have kept it.

Looking Close on Friday

Macro Mondays ~ Copper. Small mini clips made from copper.

Macro Mondays: "Magnetic"

A clip used to close open bags (chips or chrisps). The magnet could hold very light objects but nothing of substance.

The image is about 2 cm (0.75 inches) on the long edge.

Simple setup and play of light on background for contrast

Desk Drawer fun, paper clips, paper weight, rubber bands, eraser, page keeper, note book tacks.

The Clip is 53 mm in length.

Happy Macro Monday!

My attempt at the "Looking Close... on Friday" theme "Paper Clips".

This is Bill the duck billed platypus. He lives with his best friend Ted who you met last week. They hang out on a chair in the bedroom.

Yesterday he received a gift of coloured paper clips from his friend Benny who lives in the Netherlands. Not really knowing what to do with them, he decided to decorate himself with them.

Thanks to Marian for allowing Benny to send them.

Here's one more view of the ZDVLB 15, with UP 9798 pulling through the twin four-degree curves just east of Baskin, Utah in Echo Canyon. Note former CNW 8694's original low mounted ditch lights and large factory snowplow. During the Wabtec C44ACM rebuild in Fort Worth, the entire cab was replaced.

a handful of paperclips dropped on a magnet makes art...or chaos.

These two are so cute and funny!
