At the annual Cumbria Countryfest weekend, this exhibition was brought along by Keswick Climbing Wall.
Climbing Walls in the Lake District are a great way to learn and improve rock climbing and techniques, safely under supervision. Climbing routes come in different grades of colour-coded difficulty, ranging from beginner to expert, and for all ages.
This exhibition was very popular with young people, and also equally popular with their parents, who had a chance to sit down and watch or maybe have a beer!

(288/365) A Mute Swan swimming in front of Tralee Bay Wetland Centre. This is a great visitor attraction for the Tralee area. You can hire pedalos on the lake or kids can try out the climbing wall & playground. The reed bed area behind the visitor centre has various walkways & hides as well as a pond dipping area & 20m viewing tower. There is a great restaurant in the visitor centre with reasonably priced food & beverages www.traleebaywetlands.org/
Actually there were 2 parent Mute Swans & 2 juveniles today plus tens of thousands of tiny Sticklebacks in the lake. There were 4 small cygnets back in June when I took this previous photo so sadly something untoward must have happened to 2 of them www.flickr.com/photos/juliek1967/20679044116/in/photolist... predation by Mink probably or Heron
Having been reliant on my iphone for a while I forgot to bring my new camera today so missed out on what would have been a cracking Stonechat photo with the better zoom. Message to brain - remember to bring the camera next time!

This was the part I liked but fever made me continue...and then...I ruined the outcome. I couldn't get out of my own head and let it be. Learning, always.
This guy abseiling down the climbing wall noticed me taking a photo & obligingly stopped to smile for the camera (best viewed Large). Taken at Tralee Bay Wetland Centre. HFF!

Thank you all for comments & faves :)
The shopping mall next to the hotel in Singapore. It's a digital mall and caters more for the young, with cycling tracks and a rock climbing wall as central features..

The impressive climbing mountain in Bergschenhoek is surrounded by beautiful nature. Many experienced mountaineers from Europe have made their first climbing meters here. Moreover, it is a real landmark in the area. It covers an area of 1,350 square meters and is almost 35 meters high. The view of the skyline of Rotterdam, the ski slope and the green surroundings are the reward when you get to the top. It is located in the middle of the green Rottemeren area. I took this vertical photo close to the well-known lookout tower that I will upload next and it is also close to my upload 'Rail tunnel'.
