This was a BIG photo, 10x16 more or less. Scanning it was a real pain as it is mounted on thick cardboard which was bowed in the middle. The corners were cut off to fit the picture in an oval frame. The colors, after they were restored, are quite startling. I didn't spend an enormous amount of time on the background as the picture is going back into the oval frame--which is also being restored (but not by me).
Did a client shoot yesterday and one of the most challenging ones I had. Plan was to shoot in an office but when we went there the office was locked, since we needed to do the shoot soon, I needed to improvise. I saw this hallway and the place appeared to be nice, all it needed was some light. But I had no stands, no umbrellas just plain flashes luckily the setup I used worked very well with the place and the client was happy with the results. Strobist info: 1 flash at 1/8th power at the back for fill at 85mm zoom, 1 flash at 1/16th power left side below to light up the body and 1 flash at 1/16th directly in front of the model

What if you threw a party and nobody came? Major general insurer Allianz didn’t want to find out! So it asked James Halliday Events to organise its exclusive, annual client relationship building day. The cream of the company’s high value clients attended an unforgettable event that reinforced the market leading position of Allianz and its key brands Hunter and Club Marine; and strengthened relationships with key business partners.

Hmm skin tone looks off here on flickr, but fine in PS and in print. Oh well-here's one I did back in Nov.
for my business clients. I wanted to play off our website and used our little design element to creat snowflakes. I actually had to inkjet the pink dots behind because my cards are bigger than my Gocco surface and I wasn't able to burn a useable screen...but the rest is Gocco'd.

This one was a toughie. The client wanted a portrait made of herself and her best friend from an almost totally destroyed class photo.
