Taking part in an active environmental community is paramount which is why we not only organise our own beach cleanup events but also help out whenever we are invited to join other organisations or groups who organise events which share our goals and dreams!

Hundreds of volunteers helped beautify several Dallas ISD schools on Thursday, April 14, 2011, leading up to Earth Day. The project was sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency and DART, which bused the volunteers to 10 district campuses. Volunteers added landscaping and cleaned up the grounds at Stevens Park Elementary School. (Official Dallas ISD photo by Todd Overman)

Shore Cleanup:

300 volunteers went down to the coasts in Zouk Mosbeh and clean up the beaches after the golden shores of Lebanon were covered by all types of waste. People from all over the country (Saida, Baalbeck, Tripoli, and the mountains) showed up, removed, and sorted the trash. 600 large bags were the result of this collective effort and all the sorted trash was sent to the recycling facilities across the country such as “Bi Clean” in Bekfaya.

Worked today doing the first major #cleanup of the #leaves that fell at my Mom’s place.

Dylan managed to srot all the tires and rest afterward (do you blame him look at how many tires we saved from the landfill)

A big Thanks to Bi-rite, Due Drop In, and Dolores Park Cafe for their generous donations to our picnic.
