Cabin John Creek Cleanup, April 2015 - Roy gives some background about the watershed and water quality before the volunteers leave to pick up litter by the creek.
Clean Bread and Cheese Creek Community Cleanup had beautiful weather to work with over 50 wonderful volunteers at Lynch Cove Run South and Lynch Cove Park where we removed over 67 bags of trash, a bicycle, a shopping cart, a table, a hand axe, a broken fishing rod and much more!!! Thank you everyone so very much for all your incredible hard work! Our volunteer dedication to working toward a cleaner, greener, healthier community and environment cannot be topped! Thank you so much!!! We truly wish to thank the following organizations who came out to today’s cleanup: Deloitte, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force and all the neighborhood volunteers who helped us work toward a cleaner, greener, healthier community and environment!

Ready for next season! The cleanup lasted about 30 minutes. The soil and organic matter has been placed in a compost pile and turned-in with a spade.
