~ Sihtric ~
Sihtric Runeblade, brother to the moonlit enchantress Odania, is a warrior of unrelenting spirit and calculated precision. Where others charge blindly into chaos, he fights with purpose, each strike measured, each step deliberate. His demeanor is as sharp as his blade: reserved, calculating, yet fiercely loyal to those he calls kin. He values honor above glory, balance above dominance, and purpose above all else.
More serendipity here, courtesy of that necessary weekly task, laundry, and the ability to peer into the window of the front-loading washer to observe bubbles churned up as the clothes go around.
To get the shot, I had to pause the cycle to open the door. This formation was clinging on to the tip of an inside-out pants pocket, about two inches (50.8mm) at the width I cropped to.
Twenty-one. The last image of this series so far.
The amount of quarries in Wales is so large that it was sheer impossible to see even a small part of it. I truly hope to go back again, after all, the impression left by the mines was unparalleled.
Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to have a look at these dark scenes and thank you also for your thoughtful and kind comments.
Wish you a very nice weekend.

"Clean, the cleanest I've been
An end to the tears and the in-between years
And the troubles I've seen
Now that I'm clean, you know what I mean
I've broken my fall, put an end to it all
I've changed my routine now I'm clean..."

A black-capped chickadee pair was chiseling wood out of this dead tree for days in order to make a nest. They disperse the chips so a big pile on the ground doesn't give the nest away.
Dusty because I live in the desert and springtime is windy time and the earth becomes dust. They will be cleaned later.

Another from those great ragged rocks up at Bamburgh. The photo I posted the other day of Bamburgh Castle was taken from the same point as this photo. The Castle photo received an incredible amount of likes which I’m grateful. I know this photo will receive only half as many but personally I have more empathy for this photo and virtually none for the castle photo. The castle is an icon photo, taken and liked by many. I took the photo for its commercial properties, it keeps me in printing consumables. But this photo is for me, my art, my type of photograph, so as long as I like it the jobs a good’un.
