The next one - the city at night. And there is mist there too. So the vellum plays role of mist. The background under vellum - clear embossing of starry sky that was inked with distresses. It's hard to see it on the photo though.
The greeting piece was stamped with white inks and inked with distresses (so there is some resist effect). I wouldn't be able to stamp on clear embossing, but wanted this piece to coordinate with the card background. So went this way :)

Hexagons mosaic, inspired by a Pinterest image. Tried to replicate the background and almost succeed in it, but didn't like how it looked along with hexagons. So I covered it with vellum and still didn't like it. Finally removed that background at all lol.
Next - hexagons. I wanted to replicate this mix of flat and dimensional ones, made this by creating DIY-chipboards.

Simple, but plenty of interest from the friends definition bg, and texture from stamping the image and message on bazill paper. All stamps from Hero Arts.

Created the background by first stamping in different colors with HA inks and then inking it with the similar color of distresses. Then I die-cut the map from the background. First wanted to make a DIY-chipboard, but then decided to create like a shadow, by adhering die-cut with a little shift. As a finished touches misted the whole card with Pearl mist by TA, added some sequins (tried to color-match them with a piece of background they're added to) and stamped the sentiment.

As I'm still keen on chalkboard so used the formula stamp to create some kind of school chalkboard in a chemistry lab :) The card looks more like "back to school" but I like it. Think it could be used by some student to say "love words" to a significant one.

A card I created for CASE Study #194. This month the muse is amazingly talented Pamela Ho. And her card for the current challenge is one of my favorite. Couldn't resist to try casing it.
I used the same color combo (love it). Used the whole alphabet and highlighted "I heart u" phrase.

Inspired by Free people holiday window. Then first moment I saw this wreath - wanted run home and start making card replicating this look.
Kraft background "sprinkled" with white paint, then wreath die-cuts, some twine, some felt. Felt was adhered to a white cardstock before die-cutting (this way it keeps its shape better).

This one is probably the first my true one-layer card. I managed to make it without any ink spots on the back or inside lol. Before all my attempts to make a one-layer card ended by cutting the front and making a panel from it for another card base :)))

The last one. Even more experimental :) Tim Holtz chalkboard technique, using crystal embossing powder and a real chalk. I should say that from some point I like this card the most. Because it gives the MOST realistic chalkboard look. And touch :)
