I figured out the weather. It's not summer, it's autumn. That inspired me to create autumn card 😊 Actually, I wanted to attach the fox here, it's so cute 😍 And I dream about monkey to buy, it's cute too. A new card I made for CASE Study with amazing Debby Hudges. This week card is absolutely stunning! The first thought when I saw it was - I want to 100% replicate it. But that is case study, not copy study.
The wreath and feathers reminded me a dream catcher in some way. And I just got a new Wplus9 stamps and dies set. So went this way. And for the background choose dark blue. The dream catcher is white embossed on vellum. Also added some white splatters, silver twine, rhinestones and sequins. I think it looks a bit like space or night sky.

My entry for the 2018 Card Design Superstar contest by MFT Stamps, Clean & Simple Genius category (entered via Instagram).
This card I made as a part of DT. We have very interesting challenge over there - Boys vs. Girls. So the players pick a side and create a card either for girl or boy (could be any child-related card). At the end of the challenge we'll see what "team" win.
So far girls are winning with 4:1 score. And the funniest part that the only boy card is the one I made lol. Me, who knows about boy like NOTHING :))
Wanted to make something not so classic as blue or pink. But I was using adorable Clearly Besotted stamps set and couldn't think of any other color theme then classic one. So created a very classic and tender and kind of boring welcome baby boy card.

Played with panels. Always wanted to try this thing - cut a stamped panel to show a sentiment underneath. Bit now, looking at the picture I feel that the gap between panel part is kind of huge. It broke the image more then I intended.

The color inspiration for it was a colourQ pallete. And the idea of having bright flowers on a greenish background came from an iPhone case I saw once in a train car. The card is pretty easy, no techniques at all (unusual for me). But I like how juicy it looks.

A card I made for the current CASE Study challenge, where this month muse is Shari Carroll (I just adore her).
The background I made applying embossing paste through a Tim Holtz stencil, covered it with embossing powder and melt it (after the pasted died a bit). The butterfly - my all times favorite, ideal SSS butterfly. The detailed one (Leanna) I adhered on a corresponding solid one (Chrissy), which I die-cut from vellum and colored with light-brown Copic (similar to kraft color). it's hard to see it on the photo but in real life it makes difference comparing with regular white vellum. Then I had again an epic fail trying to use PP on my card. I just cannot use it for some reason, it's always so hard do choose a design. So I just stamped my own PP and use it :) Sequins a final touches. Took blue and white which colored with Copic to make browns from them.

I hesitated to the very last day if I want to take these classes. Of course I wanted to take them as i just LOVE OCC. But cannot say that I'm in the card-making place right now. I live in US now, but my home country Ukraine is suffering from Russian invasion now and all my thoughts and prays are there... Eventually I decided to take these classes and when I watched videos and learned new techniques I cannot think of a floral or festive card or something like this. So I decided to devote all my card to Ukraine.
Used DIY mask and colored with dye inks embossing paste. Loved how easy it was to color embossing paste with inks.

The ones, who read me for a long time, know, how I like Helloween 😉 Every year I feel sacred awe and finally I've got opportunity to make card to this interesting holiday. I madly wanted to use classic colors - purple and green. Hexagons mosaic, inspired by a Pinterest image. Tried to replicate the background and almost succeed in it, but didn't like how it looked along with hexagons. So I covered it with vellum and still didn't like it. Finally removed that background at all lol.
Next - hexagons. I wanted to replicate this mix of flat and dimensional ones, made this by creating DIY-chipboards.

A card I made for July PTI blog hop. This card is combination of two things I love. CAS – the style I love and create most f my cards in, and vintage – the love of my love. I’m always been attracted by vintage, even though when it comes to cards I cannot manage this style as well as CAS.
For this card I took a little bit vintagy PP with butterflies and sheet music and stamped leaves on it using Leaf Prints stamps set. Then from this panel I created happy DIY chipboard. Added birthday made with Type Strips stamps and die and some enamel dots as finishing touches.

What a nice idea for a challenge!
Tried a new tool from Tsukineko - fantastix. It IS fantastix :) Saw it on Jennifer's blog..
Used it to color stamped images with pigment it. First with white to make the color pop more on a kraft cardstock. And then colored with color pigment inks.
I didn't plan to do it but it happened to look like drawn with chalk :)
Created two "versions". The first one's base are all white inks. It's not so "defined" but looks more like was created by using chalk.
And here is the second - used brown stamping as the base. it has more defined look (especially the sentiment).
