So I had the pleasure of being with a lovely pair of Grey Wagtails on my Local River, since last time with them I decided next time I would be not only water level but in the water with my lens only a few inches from the flowing river, I placed my seat in the water for it to be only 1 inch below the seating, tripod and lens levelled and carefully placed, I the put over me and the camera equipment a light weight bag hide, this was brilliant because the water flowed through the mesh. so the I could be comfortable then use the tilt screen and shot these images using live view. this worked very well. was able to monitor the bird and move the camera with ease. what a Wonderfull could of hours, the river had risen from a couple of day earlier making it easier as only a couple of rocks were still above the water line.
Thank you for viewing, favouring and comminting.

“Keep close to Nature's heart...and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
This little guy was supposed to be scrubbing the floor, but he prefers to blow bubbles out of the cleaning water! ;-)
This model is my contribution to a building contest on www.1000steine.de. The competition was announced for the 50th birthday of the german children's program "Sendung mit der Maus".

The Osprey had just completed a strafing run across Armand Bayou to clean the fish scales off her talons when she reined in and settled onto a low stump as she waited for me to catch up for a closer view. Not quite satisfied with the results, she headed back the way she came on another strafing run before selecting a shoreline tree to roost for the evening.
So fresh, So clean (Outkast. 2000). Rio, it rained relentlessly for at least a week!

A pair of QJs take a rest at Jingpeng station, having just crossed the famous Pass.
Here the locos took water and coal as required, and had their fires cleaned before pressing on home to Haoluku, which was the next depot and crew change point.
Within a couple of months, steam would be finished here, but in November 2004, some trains were led by QJs, some by diesel and some by one of each, presumably for crew training. The nice lighting here was cruelly provided by an approaching diesel.

At the monument for the Oklahoma City Bombing victims, there is a fence where people leave momentos. I suppose they want to leave something particularly meaningful to them...something to express their feelings about this tragedy and the innocent lives taken.
I suspect a "Clean and Serene for 90 Days" key tag was very meaningful for the one who left it.
Today I am collab-ing with a friend from home. I have always loved her photography from the days when we scrapbooked together.
