These Clays cover a wide area immediately north of the far western portion of Big Bend National Park in Texas, USA.
The Javelina Clays lie to the east of Terlingua, extending deep into into the Big Bend National Park. They are very colorful and it is always pleasant to wander amongst them admiring all the different colors. The clays contain many fossills in the clays. I even found some large eggs in the formation once, but the next time I returned, they were gone. Erosion in these formations as fast!

Clay-colored Sparrows are completely migratory, breeding in the interior of North America and wintering from southern Texas south through Mexico. This is one of the few grassland species to forage off its breeding territory, so defended territories can be very small

Dharavi has a very tight knit potters community (Kumbharwada), so tight that they have open fired kiln right in the middle of their homes. As the pots get baked, potters are turning their wheels, moulding clay and getting ready with the next batch.
